Sorry I do not Know the answer only that it is very fast and accurate and I have never had it drop out or to take long to log on.

these are fantastic, very accurate

these are fantastic,very accurate,easy to install,checked against another chart plotter and only a couple of digits out connected to a laptop and using cpn software and now a chartplotter with a big screen.

It's not a mouse even if it thinks it is.

I had a little problem with this when the computer thought the gps was a mouse and went berserk. There is a fix for this which I successfully applied in the registry. It now seems to work OK and I have taken it on a number of yacht deliveries with no problem.
