Relive the passion and thrill of the New York Times bestselling Twilight Saga romance with this highly anticipated companion, retelling the iconic love story of Bella and Edward from the vampire's point of view. When Edward Cullen and Bella Swan met in Twilight , an iconic love story was born. But until now, fans have heard only Bella's side of the story. At last, readers can experience Edward's version in the long-awaited companion novel, Midnight Sun . This unforgettable tale as told through Edward's eyes takes on a new and decidedly dark twist. Meeting Bella is both the most unnerving and intriguing event he has experienced in all his years as a vampire. As we learn more fascinating details about Edward's past and the complexity of his inner thoughts, we understand why this is the defining struggle of his life. How can he justify following his heart if it means leading Bella into danger? In Midnight Sun , Stephenie Meyer transports us back to a world that has captivated millions of readers and delivers an epic novel about the profound pleasures and devastating consequences of immortal love. Praise for The Twilight Saga "This tale of tortured demon lovers entices"-- Kirkus Reviews "In the tradition of Anne Rice. . . this dark romance is gripping." -- Booklist (starred review) "The novel's danger-factor skyrockets as the excitement of secret love and hushed affection morphs into a terrifying race to stay alive." -- School Library Journal (starred review) "Relish this new adventure and hunger for more"-- Booklist A New York Times bestseller A New York Times "Editor's Choice" A Publishers Weekly Best Book of the Year An desertcart best of #Booktok Book Review: It’s good read - Loved it Review: A Must - Okay there was nothing in it that i didn't loved. Reading it again initially i was sceptical but once i started i realised it was completely different The best thing about reading it from Edward's perspective is that it completes the story from every direction thanks to his gifts. It narrates the other side is coin which turns out to be the best side. I'm sure all the fans will understand this. Also you will get to know how everything took place when Bella was unconscious. The struggle, the unconditional love, the pleasure accompanied by agony I wish all the books were written from his perspective or atleast most of it. since he gives us glimpses of other people's mind rather than having us leaving guessing for most part.

If you're a Twilight/Edward fan then Relive the moments again
The Book came in a Good condition. I'll just say I read the Book and fell in Love with Edward and Bella again and most importantly I fell in love with LOVE all over again. You may find reviews which says it's lengthy, exaggerated etc. But not if you're a fan, trust me, I read many pages more than 4times. Moreover you would come to know other characters more. So if you're a Twilight fan, then don't dwell on reviews and just Buy it and add it to your collection, and next time when you read the Series take Midnight Sun as your First Book instead of The Twilight Saga and fell in Love with Edward. The way He loves Bella, I hope everyone girl gets a Guy like that who cares for Her like Edward does for Bella.

MY PERSONAL OPINIONS
*Disclaimer- this might be an unpopular opinion* Well first of all I wanna ask.. what was the point of turning a book of barely 435 pages into a book of 756 pages? Trust me that wasn't at all necessary. Because there were certain parts in the book which I thought was utterly unnecessary and absurd. If you know me then you might know that I'm not a fan of big descriptions. I just can't bear to read all those lengthy explanations. And this book is full of descriptions and some of them are, like I already mentioned, absolutely unnecessary. I'm not saying that I am disappointed or I hate this book. I like it. And it definitely turned out the way I anticipated it to be. I kinda already anticipated that Edward's feelings are going to be dark because he's a centuries old vampire. And that's true, his feelings are dark ,full of sufferings, self loathing and the never ending guilt but it was getting kinda really dark than I expected for me at some point. But also there were certain parts where I got to know how much he loved Bella, the longing and everything, which really warmed my heart and made me happy. There are even some facts about the Cullens and certain facts that Bella was unaware of, was something really interesting and worth knowing. So you see, I'm really confused here about how much this book affected me. But one thing is for sure that I always want to remember Twilight from Bella's perspective and not Edwards'. Because I've remembered that book to be a good experience but reading Midnight Sun definitely made me gloomy sometimes. To conclude my feelings, I would say that, I didn't so much love the dark side of this saga of love that I have been loving for years. Also one more thing Edward is one of my favourite fictional characters so, seeing him suffering so much was definitely hard. Stephenie Meyer will be coming out with two more books from Edwards' perspective in the series and I am definitely looking forward to reading them with an expectation that she will make it a bit less darker and Edward is genuinely going to be happy.

You need to read this
Over the period of the two decades that it took Meyer to write Edward's version of the story, I had heard plenty of criticisms about the misshaped power–dynamics of this love story and how it is nothing but a tale of misogyny gift–wrapped in benevolent sexism. I’d had been a person at better ease if I’d seen it that way as I’ve pointedly avoided reading many love stories for this same recurring feeling of not exactly belonging. Maybe someday I’ll write my own version of a ‘detailed review’ of why this came to be an exception; but till then I’ll say, whoever had read the twilight series without dwindling into that never-ending abyss of reaching for equality in this story, whoever had not flailed to reason with themselves properly for liking it, even loving it, should definitely read this version. So so good
When I heard about this, I was so excited, but before I bought it, I wanted to know if it was worth it so I asked some friends. They said I had to get it. I am halfway through and I absolutely love it. We definitely need this in your collection.

I have waited for this book for so many years!
I'm not a big Twilight fan, but the books were not bad. I read the first 12 chapters back in the early 2010s on Stephenie Meyer's site after they were leaked. I have been waiting for her to feel like finishing it. I read the Twilight series for light reading, its nothing super amazing, but I'm also a hopeless romantic so it pulled me in. The second time I read the series I felt like the chapters were going to take so long to go through because before Edward showed up the pages just didn't pull me in, once Edward appeared I craved to read the next words, the next things he would say. That is why, even though I'm not a big Twilight fan, I love Midnight Sun. It's all through Edward's point of view. It must have been hard creating a storyline, but having to review back to Twilight to make sure the sentences, the feelings, the thoughts all matched up. If you were a casual fan, who enjoyed Edward or a Twihard fan YOU will enjoy this book. It also helps to understand why Robert Pattinson played Edward the way he did...(mind you still not good acting. CEDRIC DIGGORY FOR THE WIN)

Absolutely
This book is so good. It’s the entirety of the first Twilight book from Edward’s perspective and honestly, this might be the book I read instead of the first Twilight book for a lot of my rereads. Edward is very emotionally aware, as you can imagine, and he is a chronic overthinker. The book can be pretty dense at times because there are parts where he spends a good couple of pages analyzing something small. But I think the emotional awareness is what draws me in. It’s a story I’ve known and loved for years and suddenly, I get a new perspective. It’s the same story, but it’s different. You get a good look at the Cullen family from the inside before Bella becomes a part of it. You get a look at Edward’s life before Bella and you see the constant back and forth that exists in his head, the constant fear and distrust of himself. I especially liked reading Edward’s perspective of the hunt and what he was doing during all of it since the original saga didn’t cover any of that. If you love reading, you’re not intimidated by emotionally dense writing, and you love Twilight, I highly recommend
