so on each masacara or lash review i have been leaving my backstory: i have recently really wanted to try lash extensions and even had appointment scheduled but just realized its a bit much for me. Not only it is expensive but visits are 2 hours long at least and need constant fill ins. Am afraid if i try just once, i will love it so much that i will want to keep getting them done and its just not something i want to upkeep or pay for at this time on a routine basis. was looking for the next best thing. Of course we know that mascara will not be the same as false lashes so one has to be realistic here but i wanted to find the one that came the closest. i was currently using Benefit "They're real" and found this to be great so far and was using a Lancome primer. had tried other fiber mascaras that had fibers w/the mascara itself so did not need the primer. these did not work as well for me and the best one i found actually was so hard to get off and clumped like tar almost so i had to finally send back. i like the primer being separate b/c for my bottom lashes i do NOT want them to have the fibers so simply do not use the primer but can still use my own mascara. i also tried magnetic liner/lashes and just the lashes. was not a fan of any of it so was going back to the mascara....this primer is the best so far! every mascara claims to thicken and lengthen and be 3D. the key (at least for me) is finding one that has fibers in it and the best is when they are in the primer. I have normal, decent lashes so the fibers really add to that nicely and make a huge difference in length and volume. Then i use my own mascara (so Benefit They're real and lancome grandiose are my favorites) and it looks great. Again, if i compared side by side of my wearing false lashes compared to the mascara, of course they do not look the same. however when i just wear the mascara w/o a comparison, i have in fact been asked if i got the extensions b/c compared to what i had before, its a huge difference. so i am very happy w/that outcome.

I noticed a big difference with this primer—my lashes look fuller and longer. I also use the Grande mascara, and this set works great together.

I had purchased the mascara by this brand and later decided to try the primer. The mascara is a thick black formulation, so, you don't need much primer, Still, I liked the primer because I have really thin and short lashes. But, when I use the primer it gives me more volume and length. Be sure to let it dry down before applying mascara. Actually, I think this will work with any mascara. I have used Lancome primer before and this is on par with that one.

I gave this a try and I’m glad I did. I already swear by lash primer so the concept itself wasn’t new to me, but trying Grande’s primer was. I liked the texture, dry time and no difference in getting my eye makeup off at the end of the night with this lash primer v others. But tbh I think Lancôme cils outperforms this and is less clumpy once on, so will be returning to it after this tube is gone.

Works as it says! At 70 yrs old I have tries a lot of products & mascaras to give me a look of eyelashes & this primer really does the trick! I love it! I just wish I found it before I spent all that money on the other products!

I'm a big fan of the grande mascara. So I was excited to get the primer. Let's start with saying the primer I'm currently using is a black tint, so I was thrown off with the grande being white (which I guess a lot of primers are white). I was never actually able to cover up all the white with my mascara and it caused my mascara to clump up. Was very disappointed. I will just stick with my black tinted primer

I have to admit I was skeptical at first. The lashes on the outer 1/3 of my left eyelid had broken off somehow many months ago. I tried this to see if it would help them grow back and IT DID!! After 2 months of use there was definitely noticeable growth. They look so much better! My mascara wears more evenly now. I highly recommend this product.

Like this makes lashes fuller prior to alloying mascara only beef is it would be better in black or brown
