Packs power without a hard hitting price
I have to say I couldn't be more mad at myself. The fact that I have gone without a vacuum for so long when I could have been swimming in crystal clear water everyday is such a crime! When we first purchased our very own IRL Money Pit, we were in love with the pool. Boy were we wearing our rose colored sunglasses! This pool was possessed and had a hunger for money. After we retrieved over 200 bags of leaves from the belly of the beast we bought a top of the line Dolphin vacuum. Picture any seaside surf shop style pullover nylon jacket of the 80's and that was the color of our 1,700 dollar pool vacuum. More than a number of my vehicles! It worked. It was cumbersome to clean out but it was the early 2000's and we were young first time pool owners. Cut to years later and the vacuum dies, we aren't living the DINK lifestyle anymore. We thought we could eek through to the next time we had a service come out to check the water and clean it. This year had been the worst. From cottonwood trees to an abundance of whirlygigs, the countless leaves and the ultimate, a F2 tornado blew into our yard taking 80 hickories with in and deposited quite a serving to our voracious pool. Hours with the hot sun baking me more and more I broke down on Prime Day and got this midrange vacuum. I was fearful that I would be bringing a never able to be fully dried cumbersome shaped vacuum to the back of Kohl's to be returned but to my SHOCK. This Dolphin is a powerhouse! Up and down the walls with ease. The pool is a 20 x 20 x 20 with roman corners and a 10 foot deep end. Not one time did it get stuck. No missed spots or problem areas. It was showcasing all the best qualities. Ease of cleaning, you betcha! The dual containment filters come in and out with no effort at all. Rinse all the ultra fine to bulky debris out with your hose and you're ready to run again. With a heavy load, it cleared the bottom and sides nearly with only 3 cycles. The 4th one is running as I type. OH...(yep, the GenX ellipsis) you can even control it on an app. I was able to get it set up but still working on the WIFI perspective. A tornado side effect. I am blown away! I am not a sponsored review or benefiting in any way. Just an honest, down to Earth, rambling review. If I was a spunky tiktok influencer, I'd refer you to my links but just order one for yourself today. You'll be the next to write a rambler!

Buyer Beeare; this pool robot will fail within a year!
Almost one year after purchasing this pool robot, it stopped working. Completely dead. At first it stopped climbing and cleaning the walls, then it stopped moving altogether. Nothing would get it to work again. This is apparently a common problem with these Maytronic Dolphin pool robots: they don’t last more than a year before they fail completely. Once you contact Maytronics for warranty service, they force you to return the entire unit to them at your expense! You spend over a $600 on this machine only to have to cough up $80 just to send it back to them for warranty service. I mailed mine off today, so now I wait for them to tell me they will not honor their warranty and I’ll be out over $700 for a pool cleaner that no longer works. I suggest that if you are considering purchasing a pool robot cleaner, you seriously reconsider buying from Maytronic. I should have paid better attention to the other customers who reported that their pool robots stopped working after a year. Has i taken them seriously i would have bought a different manufacturers pool robot and not be forced into wasting yet more money trying to get a very expensive machine to actually do what it is advertised to do:: clean my pool! Buyer beware! These machines are apparently designed to fail after one yea, and so far, my experience with Maytronics leaves a lot to be desired. I’ll happily update this review if they treat me properly. If not, I’ll add an addendum to this review letting know how they actually treated me with this miserable piece if crap that I’m sure I wasted good money buying. If you like wasting over $600 on a robot that is guaranteed to fail within one year of purchase, a Maytronic Dolphin pool ckeane is what you’re looking for. But if you expect to spend good money and a lot of it on a pool cleaner that will last longer than a year, you’d be better off buying a different product. Customer service and product liability do not seem to be high priorities for the Maytronics company. I’ll add more to this review once my n own ordeal is over. In the meantime, i have a pool robot thatvi water a lot of money b on that doesn’t work, that i had to mail back to the manufacturer at great expense, with no guarantee I’ll get a working model returned to me. Maytronics clearly knows they have a problem with their product and yet they continue to sell them to unsuspecting customers who do not realize they’ll have a nonfunctioning pool robot within a year that will then cost them nearly another $100 just to send a poorly manufactured product back to a manufacturer that does mot give a a damn about the integrity of their product or their company. Don’t make the same poor decision I did; get a better brand of pool robot and stay far away from Maytronics and their poor quality products. You’ll be happier in the long run, i can assure you!

Much Better than a Suction Crawler
I finally made the switch from a suction crawler after my secondary pump died for the third time. If I ever build another pool, I will not include the old style cleaner because this way is so much better. Getting it in and out of the pool isn't too bad, but when you first pull it out, it is full of water and quite heavy. Beyond that, there is no downside to using one of these. I recommend going for a plug-in version rather than a battery-operated one because all the reviews I've seen say the batteries burn themselves out and get to a point where it cannot finish a cleaning cycle without pulling it out and recharging it before putting it back in to continue. The cart that I bought as part of this bundle is very useful and makes using and storing it way easier. Also, you will want to buy a hook for your brush pole to get it out of the deep and/or cold water.

Good pool cleaner, but gets stuck
I upgraded from an older version of a dolphin pool cleaner and wanted the same brand since I was happy with that one. This one is easy to use, I like the top load for the vac cartridges, it is much easier to clean the filter. It also does an amazing job of cleaning the pool bottom. The only issue I have is it gets hung on the pool steps (gunite concrete pool) and cannot get itself unstuck. My old cleaner did not have this problem so this is a design flaw on the newer models, hence my 4 star rating instead of 5 star.

Fabulous. Why did I wait so long to get one!
Fabulous. Get this! I waited and waited cause I don’t like to spend a lot of money. I cleaned my pool by hand for 4 years but finally decided to pull the trigger and get this. They are hard to find locally. My husband and I couldn’t believe how much tiny stuff it picks up you can’t even see the stuff in the pool it looks clean but the filters get it all! Climbs the wall and cleans the water line so I don’t have to. Buy this!

Don't waste your money, Broken after 7 uses, warranty not honored by dealer network!
What a joke! Wish I could give zero stars!! Long story ahead... Let me tell you all about my experience with our new Dolphin CC+ wifi model. We just had a new pool built and purchased one. Now we couldn't use it at first because the finish needed to cure for 3 weeks which means that our "return window" had passed before we could even use it. No big deal because we have a warranty on it right? WRONG! First off, I bought it because the ad specified that it had "pool mapping" and "manual control through the app", Turns out that was a lie. Still, whatever as long as it works. Well it worked great, once a week cleanings, after cleaning cycle, remove from pool, clean filters, hose off entire unit, put back on cart and roll away to store until next week. That was how it went for the first 6 weeks of use. Week 7 comes along, put robot in water and nothing, receive error notification through useless app that there was no communication between power supply and robot. Called Maytronics, they walked me through test procedures, determined that it needed to be taken to local dealer for repair. They gave me two company names, which provided me with a total of 3 places to try. All 3 REFUSED to perform the repair because I didn't purchase through them (bought on Amazon). Called Maytronics again, explain the issue and add that I am disappointed that the robot doesn't do two of the things that convinced me to buy it and asked about just returning it because it stopped working after 6 uses. CS rep said no, I asked for supervisor, she laughed and said that won't help, I asked for the next highest person in command and she hung up on me. I honestly hope that someone at corporate sees this and reaches out, but I think that they'll simply delete my comment before it gets too many views. Long story short, they DO NOT stand by their product, their customer service people are rude, and you cannot get these repaired if you purchase anywhere other than store. Customer service is severely lacking in this company and it's next to impossible to get in contact with anyone other than some low level call center employee who is just reading a script. So now I have a nearly thousand dollar pool vac, that lasted 6.5 - 7 uses, and broke!

Robot great. MyDolphin app sucks.
The robot works great. The app sucks. Just awful. Never connects through WiFi at all even though the network appears on my phone and connects. Bluetooth is sporadic at best if I want to reboot my phone every time I want to use the app. I love the Dolphin robot and this is my second, but they made a serious misstep with the app. Very disappointed in that.

Needs repairs after one year of use
I’m on the fence if I should give 3 or 4 stars. I had a Dolphin DX 30 for nine, almost ten years and never had it worked on. I bought the Nautilus CC Plus in Aug of 2024 and didn’t use it much that year because we closed the pool in October. The vac worked fine in 2025, however, upon the first use of 2026, the red light kept coming on and in the past, that only happened if it got stuck on stairs but that was not the case, as it was on the pool floor each time. I also noticed it made a loud clicking noise as it climbed the walls. It finally got where it wouldn’t stay on for long and the red light came on. I reached out and Maytronics sent me a repair number and I had to box it up and ship to them for repair. I was pleased that they will repair it but also disappointed that it needs service already. I am sure this unit will not last like the DX did.
