Miracle Noodle Ready to Eat Organic Rice, 7 Oz (Pack of 6)

I can't believe how great of a substitute this is for rice. It's barely even a compromise in taste - in fact, I'd say if you were to substitute this product for real white rice, this product will get you about 85-90% there in satisfaction. With this shirataki rice, I make spanish rice, fried rice, garlic butter fried rice... you name it! No odor, no compromise in texture. My only gripe which is a minor one is that these grains aren't as long as normal jasmine rice grains. But oh well. For me, very well worth the savings in calories. So many of my meals are guilt free now. If you're trying to substitute this for white rice plain, I might not recommend it (you'll get like 40-50% there in terms of satisfaction... others may have varying reviews). Overall, I love this product and will order this regularly and wish this was priced less because I would get boxes and boxes of it.

I love this shirataki rice! While it doesn't taste like rice, it pairs well with chili, stir fry, soups, and other dishes that need rice. I rinse it first and throw it in a pan with a little olive or coconut oil. I then let it cook a few minutes to dry it a little. It doesn't have any taste alone, but it takes on the flavors of what you're eating. It's super low carb and calories so it's a good replacement for those of us who have food restrictions. The only thing I don't like it paired with is spaghetti. I'm half Italian, so my mind can't make the jump with shirataki and Italian dishes. I guess you could give it a try though! At ay rate, it has marvelously replaced many rice dishes for me.

I have tried different low carb options for a rice replacement. This is my go-to option. It doesn't have flavor, which is a plus since most of the time the rice alternatives bring a flavor to the dish that I don't' want. It has good texture, although a bit more gummy than rice, it is the best non-carb alternative I have found so far. The biggest thing is that I will put it in a pot on the stove ahead of time to get some additional water out of it because when mixed into hot food it releases water. Without any prepping this can be too much liquid. I am also planning on trying a method where I add it into the food earlier and leverage some of the liquid in the dish, just not sure how well it will hold up. If you are looking for a non-carb alternative to rice, I think this would definitely be worth a try, it's my favorite so far

This product is DISGUSTING!!!! Please do not buy. I tried it once and threw the rest in the trash. It looks nothing like food. I bought the rice version and it looked like little tiny balls filled with water. Even with a ton of seasoning it’s still no good. The texture is completely off putting.

Normally this product is great, but the out of the last two boxes (12 bags) I've gotten 5 bad bags. Not edible. The rice was hard and looked like it was cob webby. It was stuck together and did not look good, at all. I've had to throw away 5 bags now. That's what, like 20+ dollars worth!? Very disappointed in the product. If I get any more out of what I have left, I'll order from a different company from them on out. Sad, because I really liked the product. Now? Not so much.

Great for weight loss alternative for rice

I am obsessed with these! I usually get the angel hair or spaghetti kind.. and I end up cutting them up to make them easier to scoop. But the rice style is perfect! I can get a good mix of noodle and everything else with the rice noodles. They’re VERY low calorie which is nice because regular pasta is so high in calories. Highly recommend dry frying to remove some of the moisture and then using them in whatever you see fit! :)
