Very nice set! I recently moved into a house and my first order of business was to run whole-house Ethernet and Coax. Well made, easy to use, and the carrying case is a nice touch.

If you are looking for a crimper that dose pass through connectors, this is not your tool. Its made for non-passthrough connectors. The cable strippers blade is nice a sharp and applies lots of pressure, so Sharpe that if you make more then one-rotation, you have a good chance of cutting the internal strands of wires and having them break on you, then you have to redue everything again.

Professional tools. The tester is top notch and main reason to buy this kit. The crimps are great and feel good in hand, not too big/small. Only thing I would swap would be the shears for a good pair of dikes/snips. The shears are high quality, but my thumb gets stuck in the hole (at a particularity bad time) while terminating rj45 ends, and I have to keep the arrangement of cables inline while trying to get shears off hand. Overall, buy this kit if you are going to be doing a lot of rj45/coax terminations & testing.

So far I have used this to make network cables and to verify that the wire pattern is right and diagnose what the problem is and the tools to fix them very easy to use

This is a decent starter kit. My only complaint is with the rj45 crimper. It's a standard, non pass through. It's hard to find non pass through rj45 ends anymore. It also cuts a bit deep when stripping the cable jacket, so watch for scoring on your wires!
