Unisex's Transalp Rear Disc Rack, Black, 26-700C

Delivered one day before expected and all perfect. Easy to mount and looks great on the bike.

Needed a rack for my bike and this fits the bill very nicely. It was delivered well packed and on time. The rack looks good. It really smacks of quality. Nice and light yet very solid when fitted. The welds on the alloy are really well done and it is finished with a nice slightly textured black finish. It fits quickly and easily to my Carrera bike using the standard threaded holes already in place. Some have questioned where the instructions and screws are... don't get caught out as there is a big cardboard label attached. The clear instructions and the stainless steel screws are inside it when you remove the staples and undo it. Easily missed by some. A very good purchase.

Brought this as I plan on touring on my cycle next year. Arrived quick enough, but not in the best packaging. No instructions, but straight forward enough to suss out how to fix. Fitted to a mountain bike, 27.5" wheels no problem. Room to spare. It's lightweight but sturdy and once fixed will hold panniers no problem. I'd have given it 5 stars, but as previous reviews have said, bolts are missing which is ridiculous. Yes, I searched all the packaging, behind the cardboard label attached, absolutely everywhere. Missing. I'm lucky that I have a garage full of odds and ends and had some spare stainless steel M5 bolts I could use. Overall, a quality pannier rack let down by missing fixing bolts.

Very impressed with this product. It is priced incredibly reasonably and constructed with durable materials that can withstand the wear and tear of everyday use. Installing this bike rack was a breeze and only took me about 15 minutes to complete. I was surprised at how securely it fitted to my Carrera Vengeance, and it doesn't add any significant weight to my bike either making the ride performance undisturbed. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. It is an excellent addition to my cycling gear, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a reliable and affordable bike rack.

Super light. Quality build. Screws with threadseal hidden within in the cardboard flap. Don't panic! :) Way better than any rack I saw at Halfords. The lower side bars mean you can easily fit a top bag without it getting in the way. The Thule packs I use with it also lock nicely into place with their additional locking mechanisms fitting nicely too to stop them flapping. The side racks run wide and low meaning you bags won't flap about on your gears, brakes, wheel system. A really nice bit of kit. Installed in less than 10 mins with the holes available on my bike.

I looked everywhere for a rack for my Trek X-Caliber 2015 bike, I tried a Topek rack that said it was for 29er tyres but i had like 10mm clearance for my wheel - So I looked for another option this rack fit great and it is really sturdy and the best thing is the over all weight being less than 1kg also lot cheaper then the topeak one, really happy with the result. My ortlib bag fit the rack also saved me a few quid in the process - oh and by the way the screws for the rack are folded in the carboard thing cabled tied to the rack took me a while to figure that one out luckily, I did not go to screw fix to buy them before I found them !

I got this because I needed a wide top and for a change the pannier bars below,it had to fit an AMX mini with discs and this ticked all those boxes. I’ve tried QR racks but they’re not to good given their higher price. Tortec velocity was catching my eye as I like to keep weight down but I’d miss the flatbed shelf I strap a duffel along,if you’re only hanging a pannier off that’s the rack but if you got discs and carry more on top this ones better,it weighs little more than the velocity,it’s got ALL the fixtures (NUTS!) in the cardboard label - all tortec racks have them there. Screw long ones in then measure where you need the top bars cut,it’s soft metal so a small hacksaw does it very quickly and effortlessly and then attach those,tighten it up and your done. Wish they had a dedicated 20” version so it wasn’t as high on my mini Vello but other than that it’s perfect. Excellent value as well,cheaper than all the other big brands,and some of the Chinese ones! Recommend this one for hauling loads... 😬👍

I've been looking for a rack to stay a little cycle touring and spotted this little gem. It was a doddle to attach to my bike and looks really robust. The max weight is 25kg and I never took that abroad for two weeks so for the purpose I need it for this is more than adequate. I haven't yet loaded and ridden the bike with it attached but how to soon. There was one little niggle which customer service dealt with immediately and rectified. When it arrives ensure that between the cardboard is a little baggy as this contains the 40mm screws which you need to affix the rear of the rack to the wheel mount. The staple was in the cardboard but no bag with screws. Yet as I've mentioned, Customer Service were first class in sorting this issue. Once I've test ridden with it loaded I'll update my review.

Monté sur mon VAE qui a des freins disques, l'ensemble est de bonne facture et semble solide malgré les deux points d'assemblage (bien serrés) - il faudra en bonne logique contrôler après un usage plus long. Cependant le léger déport pour les freins disque est inutile dans mon cas : il en existe plusieurs types et visiblement l'objet est étudié pour un équipement plus massif. Un porte bagage classique aurait du coup suffi dans mon cas.

monté sur un VTT avec frein à disque sans aucune difficulté. Utilisation en condition VTT rien n'a bougé. Un déport entre le plateau et la barre de fixation des sacoches un peu plus important aurait rendu ce porte gages parfait.

Ligero y resistente. Muy fácil de instakar
