Having read a few 'horror story' reviews of other cheaper products I paid a little more to purchase the Milescraft drill mate - and I'm pleased I did. It's well made, sturdy and stiff - no flex in it, as reviewers complained of for other cheaper makes of drill stand. I bought it for a specific 'special job' and you'd be well advised to have a practice on some scrap wood first, rather than jump straight as I did. The first use was 'OK' but after a little practice the rest of the work went well and I'm pleased with the result. There's a bit of a knack to it and having a play first lets you work out the best way to hold the jig and your drill to achieve the best result. I'm very happy with the product and its quality, I just think that it could be even better with a 12-13 mm drill chuck and an extra 25-30mm in stroke, the additional stroke can be obtained by screwing the press down on to a packer (which I did). I wanted this item to provide accuracy when drilling deeper holes, most of the Auger drill bits that could do the 200mm depth I needed are 230-235mm long, they can be accommodated in this press in diameters up to around 12mm, if you fit a 26mm packer under the press. The Auger bits for the larger diameter holes I needed to drill have an 11mm shank, so they wont fit in the 10mm chuck. Admittedly what I needed the press for was very specific, but I cant be the only person using it for this reason.

Hmm.. initially I was pleased with this fella but quite quickly, the "sliding" operation became stiff and honestly quite hard to use. It's hard to compress and it doesn't return very well. I can say with confidence that I've kept it well and used it as intended but still it has not aged well.. there's a little more flex in it that I'd expected too. The chuck (and the key) are not the nicest quality and it all feels just a bit disappointing. The baring is good at least - but I'm not sure I'd recommend it. I have a cheaper version with a collar for a standard drill (rather than the baring and integrated chuck) which is more accurate and nicer to use.

This is a sturdy, well designed piece of kit. I bought it for drilling screw and bolt holes in the replacement kitchen cabinet doors and drawer fronts that I bought. I even managed to drill dowel holes to join a corner post to the edge of a door perfectly. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because: 1. At times the overall footprint of the base was just a bit too large to get all 4 feet on the surface being drilled. This then needed a bit of creative thinking to get the job done. 2. When a drill is attached the whole thing is top heavy and has to be laid on it's side when not in use, otherwise it will topple over.

Very good value. There is a small amount of play but you can still get a very straight accurate hole using this kit.

Il fait son job. Par exemple, grâce à cet outil, je peux percer de gros trous profonds dans des poteaux, trous dans lesquels des barres se soutien prendront ensuite place. Il faut que les trous soient bien droits, pour que le poteau, une fois installé sur la barre, soit droit également. C’est ce qui me fallait !

Funktioniert gut mit dem Akkuschrauber, das feste Bohrfutter sorgt dafür das man eigentlich jede Bohrmaschine damit verwenden kann, also besser als alternativen die Bohrmaschinen über den 43mm Eurohals aufnehmen, da Akkuschrauber diesen nicht haben, man bekommt gute gerade Bohrergebnisse, also empfehlenswert

ilk denemeye göre çok beğendim, daha hassas işlem için millere takılan teflon burçlar değiştirilebiliyor. burçlar kırmızı olarak kutuda geliyor. başarılı ancak bir plakaya sabitleyerek kullanmak daha iyi olacaktır.

Indiscutibilmente necessario, a meno di non voler acquistare un nuovo ed ingombrante trapano a colonna! Felice possessore di un trapano bosch che non mi ha mai deluso, avevo bisogno di creare fori con puna Forstner su un piano di grosse dimensioni e questo supporto mi è stato indispensabile. Non avendo bracci che ne limitino il raggio d’azione, ho potuto forare al centro di un piano di legno di 70x70 spendendo quanto ritengo giusto per un attrezzo del genere. Si monta con semplicità, seppur non immediatamente. Bello a vedersi, d’aspetto discreto. Robusto e regolabile per angoli di foratura diversi dal perpendicolo.
