Pressure Washer Gun Adapter with 1/4" Brass Female Quick Coupling for Karcher K Series

Does what it's made for.

This is a connector, pure and simple. It's well made and looks like it will be very durable, and fitted on to our Karcher K4 very easily. It does exactly what you'd expect, but unless you have a wand or gutter cleaning extension or something similar then this connector doesn't serve any purpose, because it's just the connector between gun and wand, lance or extension. If you need to connect a gun and a lance then this is the connector for you, otherwise don't buy it because you don't need it.

I have some accessories that I used on a hose but couldn't use on my Karcher. This is a good, efficient solution at a good price, especially when it allows us to use accessories that we would otherwise keep in a box. It is easy to fit to the Karcher. It all fits together well and there are no water leaks. Plus the quick connector makes it even more useful and easy to install the nozzles. This connector made of brass is robust. Although it is a bit stiff, so it is a bit uncomfortable to install the nozzles. I don't know if it lacks a little lubricant or if it will soften over time. I hope it's not an issue of manufacturing tolerances.

This adapter allows you to use different pressure washer attachments with a Karcher pressure washer. Karcher have a different fitting to most pressure washers so you have to buy specifically compatible accessories so they will fit. This adapter converts the Karcher gun fitting to be able to use the push in type fittings of other accessories. The fitting feels well built and the moulding on the plastic looks decent. It fits into the Karcher gun in the same way as the original lance does and it then gives you a different fitting on the end of your lance. I couldn’t just push my attachment into the adapter, I had to pull the brass ring back to slide it in, and then let go of the brass ring and it slid forward and locked the attachment into place. It takes just a second to secure an attachment into it and it’s really easy to do. This attachment has opened up more accessories that are now fine to use with my Karcher washer since it has converted it into a more acceptable standard. It goes without saying you really need a set of nozzles to go with this adaptor. As it happens I already do. This makes reviewing this product possible. And it works, I have an older smaller Karcher washer, that is quite limp compared to the industrial hot water unit I have access to. However take off the standard karcher lance, slipping this into place, and it uses the same kind of fitting as the standard lance, and I can add various nozzles to this - each has a different spray pattern, from a needle jet to fat wide spray. This transforms the pressure washer. Okay I would not want to needle jet a large area like a patio, but the concentration of the narrow jet makes the washer much more effective on a smaller area. There are other attachments that use this 1/4" coupling too, so this adaptor would also mean you could use these with your Karcher and or similar - washer. In conclusion it works - great.

I have a Karcher K2 pressure washer which is superb, and this is a great accessory for it. It’s a simple, but well-made adapter for the gun, enabling the use of quick-release (sprung retained) accessories. It provides a good deal of additional flexibility for accessories, making it really easy to change between different spray pattern heads. To be fair it isn’t a necessity, but is certainly a nice to have! As noted, this is a well-made accessory, with brass easy release coupler. It feels heavy-duty, and of a quality and standard that I feel happy to use with my Karcher. It fits and works with my Karcher K2 perfectly. Overall, a very good quality adapter that is good value, and a perfect pressure washer accessory. I hope that you have found this helpful.

This is a very useful little coupling more so if you have the nozzles to fit to it, I had sitting in my workshop a set of nozzles which came with an attachment that can be angled, but I had no way of fitting to my Karcher, this little coupling has the Karcher bayonet fit so just plugs straight in, the other end uses a press fit coupling like on airlines just like my nozzle set so now I can use that set with my jet washer.
