If i purchase 3 Ei141RC what is the expiry date on the units ?

The ones I just had delivered had expiry date of 2031

The model number shown on my alarms is just ei 141. it doesnt have rc after it. are these the same?

I think the RC means that the backup battery is a rechargeable built-in cell. Without the RC I think the backup is a normal replaceable 9v battery. The backup battery ensures that it sounds in the event of smoke even without mains power.

Thianks but only the seller can answer. please confirm actual expiry date on remaining ei141rc's? this model discontinued - may be shorter than normal

Think ones I bought last year were 2030 or 2032 dated from memory. Obviously seller would be able to confirm current stock dates.

I have 3 ei 131 on 3 floors. the ground floor one needs replacing. will a 141 work with the existing 131s?

Sorry I have know idea,I replaced like for like and the new ones fitted the old existing base plate no problem
