Every Man's Bible NIV (Hardcover) – Study Bible for Men with Study Notes, Book Introductions, and 44 Charts Hardcover – April 1, 2014

The media could not be loaded. My husband ordered 5 men’s bibles to decide which one he liked the best.-The NLT men’s fillament was great but he isn’t a big note taker, no commentary in it just the SOAP bible study at the bottom of the pages.-The He Reads Truth was ok but the Bible is absolutely HUGE and had nothing in it for specifically men.-The John MacArthur study bible was wonderful but the NASB is too hard to understand for your everyday reader in our opinion.-The life application NIV too small of print- gave him a headache from reading.-This one- the font is just right. There are notes at the bottom that are definitely not in depth like the MacArthur study bible but they are still helpful-but very ME centered. The devotionals are really nice and helpful for men and the book intros are cool. I especially love the little “how long does it take to read” the NIV is an especially nice translation to read that doesn’t stray too far from the original text.The size of the Bible I think is my husbands favorite part. It fits so well in his hand and is so comfortable to hold and flip through. He chose this one out of them all.

I have quite a few Bibles in different translations. Even as I write this review I'm waiting for an ESV Study Bible to be delivered soon. The Every Man's Bible is actually my favorite Bible to read every day. The note and comments are geared towards men and are relevant to the scripture. I did the recommended reading that was in the front of the Bible. I read the Book of Mark, Acts, and Romans. Now I am beginning at the beginning in Genesis. I highly recommend this Bible for daily reading. This Bible does not, however, take deep dives into Theology. It is a simple cut to the chase Mens Bible.

I have gifted this bible to my partner, my son, and my friend’s son. All of them are in different stages of life from middle to young adult to teenager. I flipped through and I’m pleased myself with the quality of break down throughout. The Bible can be intimidating to read when you can’t comprehend so this was a perfect gift not only for an easy way of learning but for building a relationship with God the way He desires.I’m excited to see God use and speak to them in their reading.If you’re considering it just do it you won’t regret it

I have had this bible now for almost 2 years. The One Year Daily Reading Plan is easy to keep up with and the Kindle version means I can read anywhere. The annotations/footnotes make clear the passages I'm reading about and give so much backstory.These points are the clear reasons I have read the whole Bible cover to cover, and continue on...

UPDATE:I love it so much I purchased another (3rd) as a gift for a doubting friend...he's challenged and agreed to read it at least. I said an uninformed opinion is nothing but ignorance, an unexplored area is unknown, and until all the facts are in, you cannot form an intelligent opinion in which to base an entire philosophy (one way or another). He's an analytical guy.I will dispense with the preliminaries first: the product arrived on time, as described by Amazon & manufacturer, it was shipped without issue, arrived within prescribed estimates, the packaging was undamaged, and the product itself was unmolested and made with quality materials. Description, photograph, website presentation, and what arrived are the same-size, shape, color, and it matched my expectations. The item was shipped in the box as seen on the website, quality covering, and a quality Bible, the imitation leather feels and looks great. The Bible itself is nice to look at.On to the practical: my son is 12, I have had the Bible for over a week and have utilized many of the features listed in the product description and I am so impressed with its quality writing, it's comparison to my numerous other Bibles, notably, the King James Catholic version, its spot on and far more informative than three other versions that I purchased this very same Bible for my son. NIV is the Bible in plain English and has a distinct advantage over KJV, I do not have to spend much of my reading time trying to comprehend old English. The features within this version are fantastic, adding depth, character, and a level of personalization I had never envisioned. It highlights a mans duties and scripture specifically geared toward a mans walk, and the character portraits are great. I love it.

I bought this for my husband to use since our new church uses the NIV version of the Bible. My husband likes to read or know additional information and this Bible provides that. It is written for men to study about people in the Bible. It's a nice size and easy to read format.

Beautiful Bible!! I gifted it to both my husband and son and they both love it! It’s high quality and they love the extra footnotes inside. Must buy!
