Absolutely love this. I bought a desk made by Vasagle and was so impressed by the quality that I thought I’d try this. It’s fantastic. Build quality is perfect. Instructions are very clear and easy to follow. Dies take a while to assemble but well worth it.

This side table is sturdy, easy to assemble, and looks great. It fits perfectly next to my bed and sofa, and the C-shaped design makes it very convenient for working on my laptop or keeping drinks and everyday items within reach. The finish is nice, feels well made, and offers excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend it.

There are a lot of pieces to this table and it is quite time consuming. The instructions are just pictures and even though I am a DIYer, I still had a few problems. I did read in the description that the table top can be fitted to open away or towards you, but there is no instruction how to do this. I wanted the drawers facing me for easy access whilst on the couch and for the table to open towards me for eating or using a laptop. The instructions are for the opposite and you don't find this out until the very last piece, which is annoying. I did work it out and it is easy, but the adjustment is the very beginning of the build and so I had to dismantle part of it and start again. That was time consuming. The solution is just to turn the two pieces that the hinge fits to in the opposite direction so that the screw holes are at the point where you want the table to raise. At the rear of the table to raise away and at the front of the table to raise forwards. In saying all of the above, the table does look lovely and I am very satisfied...... now it is built! It is the right height for me and plenty of storage that is hidden, although the drawers and table top are not deep. I have now 4 pieces of matching units from this manufacturer and seller and I am confident to recommend both. I would like to have seen castor wheels on the bottom, but that is just my choice as the table is quite heavy. There are feet adjusters instead to keep it level. There are also spare screws and other parts, although I didn't need them as everything was there. I do think that this table is well worth the price for looks, sturdiness and quality. Just be ready to put a day aside to build it.

Good furniture. Unfortunately it has been used all the time with the top lifted. This means all mess in storage is on display. Not ideal. But it is a good furniture. The style matches with my rustic decor. Versatile. Size as expected. Easy to assembly, well instructed. Value for money.

Fantastic, absolutely love it. Clear instructions, took me 3 hours, but I suffer with chronic pain, so I took multiple breaks and switched between the screwdriver provided and my drill. I was worried it wasn't going to seem good value for money, but it's definitely worth it, it's a real quality, sturdy table. It's definitely a decent size and is at the perfect height to use the pull out shelf to eat dinner on. It's also going to be perfect for painting on (covered if course).

This is the third item I now own from the VASAGLE range by Songmics (floating corner shelf & bookshelf pictured with table above) and I am once again really impressed. I had my eye on a lift up table from another brand, but it was not as striking as this being just black, and it had very plain legs. When I found this, it was on offer so I found the price very reasonable. Assembly was easy as anything, I did take my time with it as I wanted to ensure I didn't ruin the whole thing or rush anything. It says you can use a drill, but I would deem this overkill and a bit clunkier than needed for the job, especially when attaching the lift away arms. It comes with a double-ended (+ & -), magnetic screwdriver which I found really cool and it's got a good quality grip on it too (yay free tool!). The parts of the table itself are labelled with stickers to say which is which, and there was one unlabelled bag of hardware, however it was easy to work out which it was as all others were labelled. There is a generous bag of spare hardware parts, too - which is really handy for construction and future dismantling / repairs. As for the table itself, when lifted out it is stable and strong (enough to bang your knee and it doesn't even wobble, whoops) and when it's folded down, it hides all the lovely storage space underneath it neatly. The cavity underneath the table is spacious enough to store a good amount of homely items (books, tablets, i.e). My next plan is to get some nice storage baskets to sit inside the table; just to offer a touch more organisational bliss. Bare in mind: if you are a bit accident prone / have pets or children, you might want to avoid storing anything that can get damaged by any spills inside the table itself, without a protective case. You don't want to accidentally kick your cup of tea onto your laptop / partner's switch console and start domestic mayhem D: The X-shaped bars really add stability, which is much needed in a coffee table in a living area; my previous one was flimsier than tissue paper in a rainstorm. The bars, paired with the nice toasted walnut finish really add character to the room, and it has made the entire living space look comfier and more welcoming than it was before. Oh, one final note on the delivery; it arrived three days ago and has been built and used since then happily. It says it is due today - so they deliver efficiently, better than their own expectations! The courier was also lovely and placed it inside my hallway to save me hoofin' it over the two steps.

Bought it for the man cave to double as a coffee table and desk to save space. It looks good, sturdy and is easy to change from coffee table to desk style when using my laptop .

Świetna jakość! Wysuwany blat trzyma się bardzo dobrze i jest bardzo przydatny do pracy czy wypicia kawy do seansu przy telewizorze, duża ilość miejsca na schowanie różnych przedmiotów, w tej cenie warto.

I’m quite disappointed with the lift top that doesn’t seem really strong

Ho aspettato per un po' di tempo prima di recensirlo, giusto per vedere come va. Che dire ... è perfetto! Solido e ben progettato, con un sacco di spazio e scomparti. Lo abbiamo minimamente modificato sostituendo i piedini a corredo con ruote. Qui sono stati un po' dolori perchè è vero che i piedini sono inseriti a vite nelle gambe, ma il diametro della vite pare introvabile qui in Italia. Risolto in extremis grazie ad Amazon, anche se le ruote sono un po' più piccole di quanto avremmo voluto. Il montaggio ha richiesto qualche ora (in due persone) e come per IKEA bisogna seguire i passi del manualetto illustrato esattamente nella sequenza proposta. Siamo soddisfattissimi dell'acquisto: è il 3° mobile Vasagle che prendiamo.
