This Lukar Stainless Steel Emergency Eye Wash Station with Shower Combination is awesome. It's exactly what you need if you have any sort of science class, or even if you want to just have a safety precaution like many backyard scientists nowadays do their projects in their garage. This I would say is even really good for woodworking garages as well, or anything similar where certain chemicals can be hazardous. Extremely simple to set up, all you need is a little bit of plumbing work for the more complicated part and that's it. Just an awesome eyewash station, thank you so much.

This takes a while to put together and the instructions are not easy to follow. We could not get it to stop leaking and it was not sturdy.

You must use a good bit of thread tape to get these joints to seal. In the listing they show a picture of how to properly wrap the threads and I suggest you check it out. Assembly took some time to figure out but was doable. I used anchor bolts to secure the base and it is pretty sturdy. Is it the best, no, but it is a less expensive than others and it works well. 4 STARS

Works great and does exactly what all it promises to do. There is assembly required but not an issue, just needed to get it set up. After that it's all good. Nice quality and very good to have. :)

cess was completed. After assembling the unit (away from its final installation area) I air pressure tested the assembly to find it leaked at every fitting. EVERY ONE!!! I had used the Teflon tape provided which was useless. I'd noticed immediately the difficulty threading the pieces together and should have boxed and returned it then. That is why I'm 1 star rating it.. I then disassembled it and used pipe dope sealant. After it was installed in the area where we are required such a shower/eyewash, and charged it with water leaks again developed at areas around the blue tape in the picture I posted. It's small but constant and I can not tighten those joints any more than I have it. Bottom line is it's very poorly manufactured and you should look elswhere for this device.
