Wonderful, slim diaper!
Love the look, love the fit, no leaks. Super slim and sleek looking. Currently I have BG FT, BG 4.0, grovias AIO and hybrids, rumparooz, and fuzzibunz. Love everything about the thirsties from the obvious look/fit to the dry time, the prints available...great diaper!

Great fit on a newborn!
One of my favorite diapers. Not sure that it'll last til potty training, but it has been great so far for my 4 month old. I bought it for my toddler, whom it fit, but when the new baby came few OS diapers fit him. This one did early on and is plenty absorbent for nighttime since he wakes enough to nurse but not enough for a diaper change. The only reason I'm not sure it'll last thru potty training is because it is the same size as the Thirsties Duo size 2 in it's smallest setting. It also fit long before other OS brands (some still don't fit great yet), and other brands that have fit well from the beginning are already too small for my toddler.

New to cloth diapering
I originally bought the prefolds and thirsties cover and it worked well for me but did not wick the moisture away as well as the pocket diapers. The only complaint I have of this pocket diaper is that the insert is not as wide and when the baby pees it will seep through the sides and get his clothes wet at times. I used these a lot when he was a newborn now he is 4 months and I tend to reach for the bumgenius. I am new to cloth diapering and love it. Pocket diapers seem to work best for us vs. prefolds. You spend a lot of money up front but over time will save. My son was a preemie and we spent probably $200 on disposables in the first 2.5 weeks.

Great qualitiies but not the best fit for my child
These are my least favorite from my Grovia's, Bum Genius and AppleCheeks. They are a bit snug for a one size pocket diaper. My 7 month old is average size at 16 lbs so it makes me feel like these will be the first he will out grow. I will admit though that because they are on the slimmer side they fit nicely under his clothes right now (but so do my Grovia's). The leak protection is great and the inner gussets are my favorite part of this diaper. They also clean very nicely and the blackbird design is so pretty. The really nice part is the combination of inserts that can be used with this one size. I use the stay dry duo insert, 2 cotton velour doublers together as 1 insert or with the duo hemp prefold. The 2 lost stars are due to the fitting on my child, at first I made them too tight but once I got a proper fitting it still made marks on my baby's legs. I want to love this diaper because it's made in the US and so many recomend but I don't think I would get another since this is usually my last pick.

Too long to dry
When I first got this diaper I LOVED IT! Until I washed it... I washed it and dried it with my other pocket diapers (I unsnapped the small insert from the large one to make sure they would dry faster). Put everything in the dryer for 20 minutes on hot. All of my diapers and the small insert were dry, but the large (cotton-like insert) was still damp. I thought that air-drying overnight would be enough, but NO! It took a total of 20 minutes on hot in the dryer and over 24 hours air drying for the large insert to be completely dry. EDIT: so far these have been the only diapers that don't leak when put correctly, so it's worth the extra time for the insert to dry. In fact, I already purchased several more (although from the Thirsties Outlet because they're much cheaper there and with no flaws)

Useless double gussets
After reading the reviews, I made sure to โtuck inโ the inner gussets. There was still a gap between the outer gussets and my sonโs inner thighs. It seems like the inner gussets just serve as main gussets. No leaking, but the inserts are smaller than the diapers. I used both of the inserts, and they were soaked within 2 hours. I use ONE charcoal Bamboo insert in my other pocket diapers, and it typically lasts at least 3 hours. For the price, I was not impressed. AlvaBaby gives you 6 diapers for the same price, and although theyโre a slightly cheaper quality material, Iโm very satisfied with them.

The inserts are of good, absorbent material
I prefer this diaper in Aplix, but not by much. The inserts are of good, absorbent material. However, the insert does not fit well into the diaper for the rise used for my child and sticks out of the front and back, or I have to fold it to fit and then the diaper is wonky. Not at all my favorite, but I did appreciate the alternative to MF for the inserts.

Better than BG's
My first experience with Thirsties were the duo one size. Yes, I liked the diaper, but no I did not like the fact that my skinny legged (75% height, 3% weight) grew out of the size 1 pocket diaper at barely 4 months, as the rise was too low and she loves to be on her tummy. Then, I discovered the OS pocket diapers. While I've had issues with my BG 4.0's repelling and leaking at daycare and at night, these pocket diapers have been bulletproof. (And yes, I've gone through the whole stripping, bleach, etc- I feel that BG suedecloth just can't handle my super-fast peeing baby whereas thirsties fleece can). No repelling, and the hemp/MF combo is great for super soaker babies. I can sleep easy at night when she has these on, knowing I won't have to deal with a wet and cold screaming baby at 3 am. Our alternative choices at night include Thirsties fitted with a Wollybottoms organic interlock cover which works equally well. I've bought 5 more of these pockets and seriously considering de-stashing my 30+ stash of BG 4.0's because of my new-found love for Thirsties OS. I hope to update this later on and hopefully do not have the repelling/leaking issues that I'm currently dealing with my BG's. Fingers crossed! My only wish is that the Thirsties company considers choosing darker colored piping/lining for their diapers, as white lined gussets can be difficult to sun out- that is my only complaint. Otherwise, I'd highly recommend.

Highly recommended!
My favourite pocket diaper! Narrow between the legs. Extra gusset to prevent leaks. Adjustable ride. Nice wide pocket opening front and back so insert agitates out in the wash. Pricey but hope to get my monies worth through use.

... wanted to start using cloth diapers and read really good reviews on this product so I ordered it
I wanted to start using cloth diapers and read really good reviews on this product so I ordered it. I love the patterns and designs it comes with and it washes out really well. However, I am not a fan because the diaper tends to leak after a couple of hours. This diaper I would have to say is my least favourite. The double gussets on this diaper doesn't seem to help and I find the elastic is made tight so it creates red marks on my son. He is on the leaner side and long, but average weight. I wanted to like it so bad!!!
