I have been looking for a hub for my ipad pro so as to transfer files from one ssd to another or from card reader to an ssd while travelling. I had concerns regarding the max power the thunderbolt can supply to drive two ssds. Hence i wanted something with a pass through charging. Which will use the need power from the external supply. Due to my specific need, i am least bothered about other ports or functionalities. Have tried other hubs from Ugreen, Orico and Dockcase. And all were having one issue or other. Like loosing connection in between. Slower transfer speed and disconnection of drives. Finally tried this belkin hub which ticks all boxes for me. Transfer rate is 600MB/s on an average for transfer from one ssd to another. Roughly 400 MB/s from card reader to ssd. And slightly higher than 600MB/s from internal drive to ssd. Though i have concerns about the longitivtiy of the inbuilt cable, its having enough length and is really flexible, which will not physically stress my port on ipad. These may not be the maximum performance my devices can offer, but then i need to move to thunderbolt devices which are costly and needs power bricks of its own. Which may not suite my needs. Bought this to use with my gaming handhelds (Steam Deck and Lenovo Legion Go). One nice thing about this hub is that it has 4 USB C ports, 1 of which can connect to a charger and charge my handheld (65W) while the other 3 ports are used for USB C SSD enclosures for expanded storage and other accessories) Works as advertised, useful as it works with my other 9-in-1 USB C hub.

Love it!! it is the most important component of the whole rig - definitely worth buying it. Packaging could be improved but very happy with the product and the delivery. Top notch

It is pricy but worth it. I am buying one for my home use and keeping this one for my laptop. It has performed well and survived a leaky bag of peanut butter M&M's in blistering Phoenix heat. It is alive and well today after cleaning everything and the ports with a tooth pick and q tips.
