String Swing CC01V Wall Mount Violin Hanger (Black Walnut)

I love this violin hanger. It came packaged well and was easy to install. It has a simple and elegant design and is very sturdy. The material on the hook keeps it from dinging or scratching the violin. The bow holder has a rubber material that keeps the bow in place. Overall I could not be happier. Highly recommend.

I actually bought this to hang an erhu (pronounced like "ar! hu!?"), also called a "Chinese violin", and it works fine for that purpose. An erhu also has a bow like a violin and the bow hanger works fine for the erhu bow. I found the drywall anchors to be very sturdy. They're the "self-drilling" deep-grooved screw type that will hold very securely, but it seems like some people don't like them because they take up too much space in the drywall and will leave a larger 1/2" hole in the wall to patch if removed. But they are quite secure and the amount of drywall displaced isn't an issue if you don't need to remove them. They are plastic rather than zinc. Almost nothing seems to come with drywall anchors that make everyone happy, but these aren't useless and will hold unlike the ones most products come with. Anyone who wants better wall anchors will pretty much have to go buy themselves a pack of butterfly type expansion anchors because nothing seems to come with those.

I just hung it on my wall earlier today and just figured I’d leave it there and maybe practice tomorrow when I had more energy. After a few hours I figured, “well, it’s hanging right there, I might as well make sure it’s in tune,” and I ended up doing a bit of practice anyway while I had it out. It’s very easy to install, pleasant to look at without being intrusive and make a practicing extremely convenient. It’s very well made (so far as I can tell) and comes with everything you need to attach it securely to the wall regardless of whether or not you can find a stud to stick it to. I highly recommend this product especially if, for one reason or another, you suffer from a lack of motivation to practice your music.

The packaging was hard to get into but besides that, the mount was easy to install, no power tools required. Simple philips-head is all it took.

This hook may be a little bit more money than your standard wall hook, but it's worth it! I wanted to get the best of the best and this is the one I chose. It's perfect for my wall! My violin is my baby, and I wanted to hang him on a sturdy, nice looking hook that also holds the bow. This hook does the job! The wood on it doesn't make it stick out like the plastic ones do. The color of it is nice too. It holds my violin so well and it's super sturdy on the wall with the big screws that came with it. The bow hangs nicely in front of it, where they don't touch at all. I would definitely recommend this hook for anyone that wants a perfect hang for their violin. It looks great on my wall on display.

This violin wall mount has served us well over the past 6 years. It securely holds the violin neck with soft, protective material, and the bow holder is a nice touch. We've found it useful enough to move between different households. When the wooden component was accidentally damaged during a move (our dog got to it!), we were able to easily replace just that part and continue using the mount. Overall, it's been a durable and practical solution for violin storage.

Reliable

Installation took like 5 minutes. I'd recommend going off script a little and drilling some 1/8" holes sort of as guides. You don't have to, but it'll help make sure you mount everything level. Otherwise, if you have a drill, it takes about 2 minutes to install. I trust it with my professional accoustic violin and my "pro" (because the madel says pro in it) Yamaha Electric fiddle. I also have a mandolin hanging from a string swing, but it's a different one. This one has a nubbin' to hang a bow from.
