My Wahl clippers are from the 80's (but still going strong) and these fit them pretty well. It takes a little effort to get them on securely but then they work fine. I mainly got them for the really long ones so I could cut my own hair. (the back is really hard to do.) I find them much easier to use on someone else than on myself. You have to be aware of how the hair is passing through the guard because it is easy to cut it longer than you meant, especially using the longer attachments. I think it's mostly a learning curve.

Poor fit. Weak rear tab simply did not engage the clipper securely and was unable to maintain a secure hold of the clipper guards, quite unlike the brand name Wahl product. Returned immediately.

actually clips on well to my wahl clippers and does the job. Im doing self haird cuts, and i find it useful to clean up the longer hairs up top.

I recently ordered these clipper guards as I found that the ones that come stock with my clippers were too short. This pack offers 6 guards ranging from 1 1/4in to 2 1/2in and claims to be compatible with a handful of Wahl clipper models, including mine. Well, even though they technically do fit, the clip on the back is very week and every time I would go to make a pass at my hair, the guard would pop off once it felt any pressure. I ended up having to add a blue-tac buffer between my clippers and the guard to hold it in place. They are still good clipper guards and may fit better with other models, but for mine they need a stiffer tab on the back to hold it in place stronger. I'm only dropping one star as I was still able to use them perfectly fine with my sticky-tac hack. Thanks for a great product, just maybe make the back tab stronger in the future?
