It was 100% worth the investment. I wanted to make sure that I could have the smoothest gameplay experience possible, without ping spikes, without connecivity issues and this gives me exactly that. My router isn't the strongest, and this gives me the range I need to keep the gaming smooth. Signal strength is awesome. From upstairs it is honestly amazing. I am getting 600Mbps upstairs and it's pretty far from the router. Luckily the router is free from intereference so this might play a factor. I tested with many games and overall the latency is almost always stable, never really get any dropouts, packet loss or lag. I am so happy with it at the moment. The size of it is probably a reason why it performs so well. It's not one of those dodgy ones with only a low quality Realtek driver in it. It's actually awesome. I am going to recommend this to some of my family members, because this is honestly one of the best WiFi adapters I have tried. It's so much better than my Internal adapter, and that one does 6 Ghz too. Maybe it's an Intel problem lol. I recommend this for gaming, if you want something stable and something that doesn't lag. The big antenna is definitely something you want to consider.

My PC is located upstairs, a long way from our fibre router. For some reason, the signal strength on my TP Link WiFi adapter had gradually reduced to zero. Replacing it with this NETGEAR Nighthawk (A8000) adapter instantly boosted the signal strength to 3 bars. Due to the long distance, walls, and neighbours' devices etc., 3 bars is pretty impressive. We can now get good download speeds, and restored reliable printing capability to our temperamental Cannon printer. No installation problems either - just loaded the driver and selected this adapter in our Windows 11 Settings. The dongle comes with a cradle that sits neatly on top of the PC tower. The cable has plenty of length for locating optimum coverage. For me it's been good value for money.

I’ve been considering the NETGEAR Nighthawk WiFi adapter for months, but the price always put me off. When it dropped 33% on offer, I finally bought it — and I’m genuinely glad I did. Wow. Just wow. From the moment I opened the box, everything felt premium and well thought out. The adapter itself looks and feels extremely durable, and the USB 3.0 cradle/mount is built like a brick — solid, heavy, and clearly designed to last. A very nice surprise was the included USB flash drive with the drivers, which made setup simple and incredibly fast. I’ll try not to overdo it, but honestly — this adapter is fantastic. I’ve used several no-name WiFi adapters before, and they were always unreliable, fluctuating between 1–2 signal bars, especially on higher GHz bands. The Netgear Nighthawk is a completely different league. I get full bars on 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and even 6 GHz, consistently. 🔹 Performance Signal strength: 10/10 — rock-solid connection, even in the farthest corners of my house Speed: 10/10 — lightning-fast downloads and perfectly smooth streaming Stability: No drops, no fluctuations, no frustration I honestly didn’t think a USB adapter could perform this well, but it far exceeded my expectations. If you’re on the fence because of the price, I was too — but after using it, I can confidently say it’s worth it. Highly recommended.

Speeds increased by 3 or 4 times. However the adapter tends to disconnect every once in a while.

It's definitely superior to cheaper WiFi dongles, worth the price for anyone who needs good connection with a minimal lag. I did break wifi antenna in my laptop and needed some workaround to stay online. Initially I've tried some cheaper and smaller dongle, but the lag was too big to play competitive games like Counter Strike. Since I've switched to this Nighthawk, I'm not having any connectivity problems and I can play whatever I want. It was easy to install all requirement pieces (also offline). The device is quite big, but it's getting impressive results. I'm a few meters from the router and I'm getting above 500Mbps out from my 1Gbps router, which is probably the most you can get with any WiFi. The device can be opened to increase the WiFi reach, but I'm having it closed all the time (like on the picture) and it's still awesome.

I already know netgear is A* Rated from other purchases. It comes with a seperate usb stick with drivers on it. Which is cool. Easy to install. Strong signal. I like the blue light on the device. Don't get me wrong I love asus and could have easily bought there wifi 7 dongle. But this is networking we talking about. Not motherboards.

Very easy to setup and so far after a week or so it has not let me down at all. Connected to my EE hub no problem, entered the password and it connected to the 5G signal. Very happy to recommend.

Weil mein bisheriger, auch nicht gerade billiger WLAN 6 Stick einer ebenfalls bekannten Marke angefangen hatte, immer wieder für ein paar Sekunden die Verbindung mit dem Router zu verlieren, habe ich mich nach einem zeitgemäßen Ersatz umgesehen und bin dabei auf dieses Produkt der Marke Netgear gestoßen. Zwar ist das Teil mit aktuell knapp 100 € nicht gerade ein Schnäppchen, aber ich musste die Erfahrung machen, dass die meisten „günstigen“ WLAN 6 Sticks sehr unzuverlässig arbeiten. Ich konnte schon einige davon testen und leider sind alle durchgefallen. Anders war das bei meinen bisherigen Stick, der leider zu schwächeln begonnen hatte, und das hier zu bewertende Erzeugnis stellt seinen Vorgänger gleich von Anfang an in den Schatten. Mitgeliefert wird übrigens ein USB Mini-Stick, der den Treiber beinhaltet, während ich mir bereits so vor Dreck von Netgear den Treiber besorgt habe. Natürlich habe zuvor auch den Treiber des Vorgänger-Sticks restlos entfernt und so gelang die Installation dieses Gerätes schnell und ohne Probleme. Die Geschwindigkeit ist übrigens über alle Zweifel erhaben, wobei allerdings festzustellen ist, dass ein WiFi 6 Gerät ebenso schnell ist, solange man nur das 2,4 GHz und das 5 GHz Band zur Verfügung hat. Dennoch habe ich mich für diesen Stick entschieden und kann Ihnen bislang nur empfehlen. Die Verbindung zum Router wird sehr schnell aufgebaut und steht dann äußerst stabil. Abhängig von der Tageszeit ist auch die Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit sehr schnell. Von mir bekommt der Netgear Nighthawk USB Wlan Stick WiFi 6E verdiente 5 Sterne. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Excellent performance for a USB networking adapter. I get a stable and fast(relatively) connection through several thick stone walls including a massive chimney. The device looks okay and installing the drivers wasn't much trouble.
