Nice kit! These are the sizes I use most. These are glue-lined, so it takes more time under reasonable heat to get them to shrink, melt, and seal. I expect this would be really hard to do with a BIC Lighter -- use a proper air gun. Done correctly, they tighten up and flow the glue correctly, with just a little bead of glue showing on each side of the tube. Perfect! Watertight, not going to slip, and won't peel off easily. For larger wire projects, I sometimes slip the large tube over a small one to really make a strong 'graduated' strain-relief. The glue also allows you to 'cap off' some wire connections by putting an open-ended tube over it, melting it down, and then plier-pinching the end Great kit, affordably priced.

Excellent heat shrink. The 3 to 1 shrink ratio and the internal heat activated adhesive makes for a very sturdy bond and connection. Very sturdy. I have even used it to repair a pair of eyeglasses! I lost the set screw to one side and the heat shrink tube is holding the whole pair of eye glasses together and making them totally functional. That is some tough heat shrink! The high shrink ratio requires far less of different sizes of tubing to cover many more sizes of repair. You can use a much bigger size tubing to cover many more sizes of wire or other repairs. Requiring one to have far less amount of heat shrink sizes on hand than the 2 to 1 variety. The adhesive activates and flows very quickly keeping the tube in place when applying heat from a heat gun. Very handy. The heat activated adhesive and the much thicker walled tubing is what makes the finished repair much sturdier. It does what it says, and is actually much tougher than one would imagine. I will be using this heat shrink exclusively from now on! Thank you!

Good heat shrink. I would have given it 5 stars if they gave more larger tubes. Shrunk easily using a bic lighter.

super recomendable muy pero muy sencillo ce utilizar lo mejor es cuando se seca el pegamento es muy difícil de mover y cuando se enfría el plástico protector se pone muy duro, yo lo utilice para reforzar unos cables para mi cargador de iphone

Me gustaría que incluyera mas repuestos para cables grandes como los cargadores de celular o cables de audífonos. Esos repuestos delgaditos no se para que sirven y creo que nunca los usaré.

the glue on the inside makes the tube smaller then it appears, would be nice to have some larger sizes included.
