Though the battery holder broke due to rust. So I used a couple of tie ins to hold one side of the battery. My old battery did fail momentarily and the car display disappeared last week. Then it starts OK. This has happened to me twice with 2 different cars when the car display dissappears and usually in the next few days the battery fails. So word up. My old battery had a load voltage of just under 9V so that is a battery about to fail. I also did a load test on the new Exide battery and I got 10.3V which is what it should be between 9.6V and 10.5V.
