The Leica M Photographer: Photographing with Leica's Legendary Rangefinder Cameras

This book could be an inspiration for any person starting out with Leica M. An honest and informative overview of an experienced Leica photographer.

Good introduction to Leica world.

This could have been better. The challenge given to the reader by the author to approach and photographs a number of themes, was good. The author explained the challenge well enough but the images he produced ranged from good to rather mediocre. Maybe he could have used images by other renowned Leica users to explain and make his point, almost certainly in such a case the objectives would have been better made with more powerful images to illustrate his ideas. Shame that neither he nor his publisher knows the difference between discrete and discreet, an important word and an important difference in Leica photography.

An interesting short read. But not worth £18.71. Sorry Bertram. More meat, more potatoes please. Or at least fill up the book with more and bigger images.

Wow - use the word Leica and you have my attention. Unfortunately the cover and title does not live up to content. Uninspiring images and wordy pages which only vaguely reference the use of a rangefinder/Leica. I wanted to love this book but it was disappointing.

Me gusta el enfoque que realiza sobre unos equipos con aparentes limitaciones. Resulta interesante y motivador para un tipo determinado de fotografía

Pa sgrand chose, ce livre est très généraliste sur l'acte de photographier et n'apporte rien quand à une conniassance de plus sur le système M. Ce n'est pas un livre technique. Il apprendra sans doute à un débutant, mais rien à un photographe débutant avec le système M. De belles images, mais beaucoup de vide... Du coup bien trop cher pour ce que c'est... Les leçons de l'auteur n'ont même rien d'exceptionnelles, voir même enfo,nçent les portres ouvertes. Grosse déception.
