Q: Does this draft stopper work well?

I have a 36" dog stopper and used this item to stop the draft from under the door, it worked very well and is also very cute! Instantly stopped the draft from under my front and back doors. When not in use, it can be hung on the door, which is very convenient. Highly recommend them!!!

Q: is it malleable enough to just shove against the door? I don't want to use the velcro

We did not attach it to the door. We slide it with our foot.

Q: Can you remove the cover for washing?

I don’t see any way to remove the cover for washing.

Q: Is it weighted the entire length? Returning one that only had weights in the ends which wasn’t very effective.

It has a weight on each end and the middle. It seems to work as equitable distribution.
