For the old school consumer who likes the bright poppy red color, these are NOT IT. Despite the marketing on the site and your monitor that they ARE.. Still, if pragmatism is your guiding principle then these fit the bill. If you were lucky enough to get the 4 cup Pyrex dishes from a thrift, then these lids will eliminate temporary seals like aluminum foil. In my experience, replacement lids are adequate, but not "tight." Perfectly happy with the extra capacity to store food and now I won't run out to buy plastic.

Very acceptable replacements

These fit the glass bowls I had. Not the lids over the years. I used the bowls to eat soup or casseroles in. I needed to create some foods I could freeze and eat later. I was having eye surgery where I would need to lay flat on my back for 24 hours except bathroom breaks and to eat something quick. So I. Poked and stored in thee bowls and to feeeze till I could eat it. The color matched the one lid I had left. Way to clean. I put them in the top of the dish washer and they get clean and don’t warp. They are leakproof.
