A stunning book with beautiful photos and details about the costumes and how they were made. Wonderful for fans of Downton Abbey and who love clothes and maybe for anyone interested in costume design. Lots of information, detail and stunning photos. The book is large in size and provides excellent value for money, fans will love it. It arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. An excellent service and value for money. A book for everyone to treasure. Great for dipping into, or for flipping through from beginning to end. I cannot praise it highly enough.

I love the detail to sourcing and getting more knowledge of all the behind the scenes research. Its size is a bit of a problem - it will be good for bed time reading unless you want to be knocked out.

My mother is mad for Downton - lunch is no longer lunch with her - it's luncheon now - and this book delighted her. Extremely detailed, beautifully illustrated, there can br no finer volume on the magnificent costumes for women AND men, upstairs AND downstairs that featured in this fantastic series. Something similar on the cars that featured would please me no end! ;)) G

superbe livre, magnifiquement illustré avec des gros plans sur les broderies. C'est aussi un très bel hommage rendu aux costumiers dont le travail a pleinement participé au succés de cette série. Ce livre est un régal et une mine d'inspiration. Il est parfait pour les admirateurs de l univers de Downton Abbey.

Se avete amato D.A per la sua atmosfera di altri tempi questo libro è davvero interessante perché oltre a presentare i vari costumi racconta il lavoro certosino che un costumista deve svolgere sia per garantire una accuratezza dei costumi,ma anche per creare la personalità del personaggio e metterne in primo piano uno rispetto all'altro nelle scene chiave attraverso la scelta di tessuti e dei colori..Bellissimo da tenere sul tavolino e da sfogliare nei momenti di tranquillità..Magari con una bella tazza di tè

Beautifully photographed book, filled with photos of many of the gorgeous clothing items worn by the cast of Downton Abbey. It’s a large coffee table book and the pictures are perfection as are the various items of clothing. You get to see up close the very fine detailing you possibly missed even on your large screen TV. These costumes are exquisitely made, and photographed.
