LOVE!! Been wanting to learn this language for a while now and nothing ever helped me stick with it but this book helps me stay on track and actually learn the material. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

I bought this workbook to help my Korean-American friend who's taking Korean classes at school but wanted a Korean drill book, and it's been a tremendous help (we're half-way through the book) in her Korean study! The best part is its wide spectrum of questions, such as alphabet puzzles and word-picture matching questions, and it adds fun to what might be an arduous, boring task. Although it's not a text book that teaches the bascis of Korean grammar from A to Z, they put some effort in briefly explaining the grammatical part of the study. Of course, you would need a textbook to learn it in depth - this workbook does a nice job of complementing what you learn from a textbook. One word of caution though - for some of the questions, especially for reading questions, you will be expected to open up a Korean dictionary because it doesn't have English translation, which I believe is deliberaterly designed so, to help us learn the vocabulary on our own. My one suggestion for the next edition of the book will be adding some coverage on conversations and expressions, maybe with some audio support. Hope you all can master Korean!

Good book on the Korean language, can learn some basic words and phrases!!!!

As other reviews stated its not for beginners. If you have some background in the language then you will be ok. It doesnt explain a lot of grammar but expects you to. I think this book is used for a curriculum for a teacher to fill in the missed spots. Sadly its been hard finding a book that teaches the a-z korean, writing and grammar. I have to buy different books to learn the things each book lacks.

This workbook is in my opinion very well made. It’s easy to understand for beginners like me. It talks about the basic things you need to learn in Korean. The workbook teaches you grammars, vocab, and so much more to build a foundation of the Korean language. 👍
