If you go to a quality kids' shoe store, they will measure it for you, too. Then you can go from there. **Q: Will these fit a 1year old who is walking with fat feet? Do they have a pull out sole for wider feet?** A: This is a nice shoe but I honestly wouldn't look for flat foot support in this one. It was pretty wide and if you look through the stride right shoes some are specifically for wide feet.
