Fantastic quality for price of camera BUT...
All appears great at the moment, day 2, BUT the battery only lasts two hours, not ideal. Maybe we have a duff one. Anyway, the price and quality of picture camera takes is good enough to keep it. Not sure I would recommend though, as it's nice to be able to have the camera all day when out; best buy a spare original battery if you can!

Better than expected!
First thing to do is find the opperation manual on line because the leaflet in the box just is'nt up to the job. Put the camera on charge, mine had 10% charge out of the box and took over 2 hours till full charge. Read the downloaded manual because the settings are not easy to sort out. The camera has some weight to it which did pleasently surprise me. Auto-focus is achieved by half pressing the shutter button and waiting for a green square to appear on the display, then continue to press the shutter button fully down. Picture taken. This camera is quite compact and the optical focus system keeps extending the lens in use which makes it difficult to find a safe grip. With up to 20 meapixels (depending on how you set it in the menu) means sharp photographs with normal colour and better when set to vivid mode. Overall in my opinion this camera is reasonably priced and worth the price.

Mine had a fault, unusable
Nice, compact camera which I’m sure would take good pictures. Unfortunately the camera I received had a fault whereby on full wide angle, the lens barrel was visible on the viewing screen hiding half the image being viewed. Sadly I have returned for a refund.

Pixpro AZ425 - Budget Price but Good Performance
I came away on holiday having forgotten to pack at least one of my four cameras. I could have used my phone, but I like having a camera to 'play' with so ordered this online. The Pixpro AZ425 was about half the cost of my other 'point and shoot' camera. Overall the performance is excellent in relation to its cost. It's got a 20.5 megapixel sensor and on the highest quality each photo is about 5-6mb - enough to produce an excellent and sharp result. Its functionality is easy to learn - I would think this could be a great camera for a teenager just starting out with photography. If you don't want to spend a fortune, but expect a satisfying result - this is a great camera. Oh - and don't forget to update the camera firmware to the latest version for best results (instructions on Kodak Pixpro website).
