The Army Painter | Colour Primer | Acrylic Spray Matt Black 400 ml, Miniature Painting Primer

I don’t usually leave reviews but I had to for this. The best primer I’ve ever used. Even in the cold weather. It levels beautifully, like an airbrush primer would. But with all the strength of a rattle can primer and none of the fiddling of an airbrush primer. The Coverage is amazing too. One coat is enough.

I was a little worried this may not be as good as some brands, I recently started my army and I went for this as the black I was after was sold out, I was pleasantly surprised how well this worked! It coated my army beautifully before I applied the fine details, will buy again!

Great for base coat or just a Matt finish you can add varnish glossy finishes over I used for aliens 28mm figures with a shinny gloss over it

The cap is attached to the can and needs to be cut with an xacto to get it off which I found annoying but safery first I guess. Other than that its a good paint, good coverage and decent colour however it's not entirely matt, more of a satin/semi gloss finish but it takes paint well (I used vallejo acrylics). Follow the instructions on the can and you'll be fine

Ave used plenty of primers over the years this one is by far the best!! Coverage is amazing, very little pooling, and dries with a lovely thin matte coating!

Did the job nicely with a smooth coat. I watched a couple of YouTube videos on how to use primer. Best tip is to leave the can in some warm tap water for 5 mins then give it a good shake. Coverage was great and not too glossy at all. Would buy again.

Army painter es pinturas de buena calidad. A diferencias de otras pinturas en spray que requieren muchas pasadas, con Army solo necesité 2. Gran compra.

Réticent à employer des apprêts sur mes maquettes, ce produit me réconcilie avec la méthode. Pour les problèmes de buse indiqués dans certains commentaires, effectivement elle est différente par rapport au buse des autres bombes. Je ne l'ai pas employée. Une fois sèche et tendue, la couche de peinture ne masque pas les détails et elle adhère parfaitement au plastique. L'opacité est très importe. je ferai l'acquisition d'autres teintes.

I paint a lot of miniatures and this product works well for metal and printed miniatures. IT DOES NOT work well with the BONES miniatures from Reaper. Use their paint for this spray will not dry on that material. Nothing bad about Reaper. Great stuff, just this spray paint won't mix with that plastic. Citadel and other plastic, this product is fantastic. Resin, PLA and PETG works good. No problems. New nozzle setup keeps pretty clean too. Its a little more in cost but worth the price when it comes to painting.

L’applicazione è uniforme e uno dei suoi punti di forza è l’asciugatura molto rapida, che permette di iniziare a dipingere in tempi brevi. Il nero è estremamente opaco e profondo, ideale per schemi di colore scuri o tecniche come il drybrush. Occorre però prestare attenzione quando si utilizzano colori chiari, che potrebbero richiedere più passate a causa del fondo molto scuro.
