lightweight but effective in deflecting heat from my backyard gas grill away from my cementitious siding. the grill is positioned fairly close to the siding, about 12" or so, and placing this between the siding and the grill effectively reduces the heat on the siding by at least 75% in my estimation. I'm comfortable using the grill in its current location with the shield in place, which is secured by two pieces of wood that it's stapled to.

Yoooo this thing is crazy cool I have it about 8 inches away from my treager and I can smoke 8hours and touch the heat shield it’s cool. Pretty impressive

My stove and fridge are directly next to each other with only a 1" or so gap between them and my previous fridge ended up with some paint discoloration from heat. This heat shield looks great and will help to reflect some of the heat from the stovetop and oven. I attached the heat shield to my fridge using a 6-pack of bar magnets that I also bought on Amazon ("MIKEDE" 60x30x3mm magnets). The magnets come with double sided adhesive strips. I stuck the magnets to the back of the heat shield, one at each corner and one at the middle of each long side. Now the heat shield can be moved around, positioned, and taken on/off easily without damaging paint. I'm super happy with both purchases!

The price as good, but didn’t realize it was more like a fabric. Was thinking it was going to be a solid piece of stainless. Will still use it for a while.

Purchased to protect an outdoor work surface from the ravages of a 50K BTU wok burner. Worked perfectly!

This works for the wall area behind my air fryer. Only drawback is that the creases are still there. Wish they would smooth out!

A quality heat shield to protect delicate surfaces.

I bought this to block heat from my heated floor to items on the floor of the closet. Did not make a difference. And it is not returnable !
