The cover fitted really easily, and as you would expect comes with everything you need to ensure a snug fit. The cover is padded as a whole ( not a separate foam pad) so I reused my old foam underlay as it was just the cotton cover that needed replacing and now have a double thickness surface. You get sent any design, I received the green with a circular design print and its lovely. The only downside is: the thickness is definitely not 8mm so do like I did and reuse your old foam padding!

I bought the 8mm random selection option. The cover that came was 'soothing sea', which is not in the image, but is a lovely new design that progresses from soft green to soft blue. It seems excellent quality and was easy to fit. Happily recommended.

I have a 30 year old Brabantia ironing board and was worried the shape or measurement may have changed but neednt have. I was very pleased with the quality and the cover was very easy to put on.

This is a lovely cover. I had been looking at getting a cover and an under felt to replace my old disintegrating one but came across this one which incorporated both. The foam was twice as deep as the ones on the normal covers (2mm) and there is no fiddling about trying to get the separate cover and felt to lie flat as they are fused together. I found the easiest way to put the new cover on is to lie it 'ironing side' face down on the floor and place the flat surface of the ironing board on top of it; it makes it easier to pull the strings tight, to tie them and to attach the rubber band. Excellent value - The fact that the design that you got was a 'lucky dip' didn't bother me, especially as it was half the price of the cheapest cover and felt combined price that I could find on the internet plus free P&P. Item was dispatched next day and arrived within a couple of days.

So pleased I splashed out for a slightly more expensive cover this time round. Previously I'd had cheaper ones, still from well known brands, but after a short space of time, the thin felt backing was disintegrating, and I was getting grid marks from the ironing board over the clothes. So decided to pay a bit more this time and research first. Glad I did. This was very easy to fit (only took me less than 5 mins) and fitted my 124cm x 45cm ironing board perfectly. The padding makes a huge difference (I also bought additional padding - Xavax Universal Replacement Pad Ironing Board), and dare I say, ironing is a near pleasure now (that might be a bit strong!). Re the fit, I had already returned another cover (from Lakeland) that claimed it was to fit my ironing board size, but it was far too small, and this one is plenty big enough, with surplus material to tuck underneath, in order to "pull" the cords for a tight fit. The clothes stay put and don't slide on the cotton covering, and the iron seems to just glide (which it didn't before). If you do a lot of ironing, I would highly recommend this product and stay clear from the cheaper versions, such as I've tolerated before.

Excellent quality product. So easy to fit

I initially got sent the wrong item, but when I recieved this I was glad I ordered it. It is really nice and thick? Shaped to fit over the sides of your ironing board, which makes it easier to put on centrally. It has tie on fastening, which ideally need a second set of hands to help you get it on really tight, unless your quite strong. Also comes with a fastening (bungy like clip) to attach under the board, to help keep the centre in place. Great buy and looks like it will last well. Would highly recomend!

Wanted a replacement to my old board cover so went through my old purchase and clicked on the similar item. The item that arrived was not cut the same way as the old cover and wouldn’t tighten as well. It probably won’t last very long so am kind of disappointed. I get that it was a game of chance with what colour I’d get but the material looks like it’s aged by exposure in the sun.

A good cover. I had it before, However I didn't like the fact that you purchase the assorted style and then the supplier sends over what they want to, I would have preferred to choose the specific pattern myself.

Bonne housse, epaisse. Montage facile et rapide. Après quelque mois d utilisation, elle n a pas bougé. Dommage qu' on ne puisse pas choisir le modèle, j ai eu une neutre bleue avec les gouttes d eau. Je ne la trouve pas jolie mais le plus important est la qualité.

Finalmente il mio ferro da stiro è tornato come nuovo. Con quelli che compravo al supermercato nonostante guardassi le giuste misure mancava sempre qualche centimetro oltre che carenza di imbottitura che non creasse segni della struttura dell'asse sui tessuti. Questa è perfetta.

Für mich ist wichtig, dass der Bezug gut auf den Bügeltisch passt. Außerdem soll er weich und luftdurchlässig sein, da ich einen beheizbaren Absaugbügeltisch verwende.
