Should I go with the 49-54mm?** A: Yes, the sizes are based on the overall external diameter of the bell. **Q: What is the difference between the eyepiece and objective covers? They appear to be the same.** A: I bought both the objective lens and eyepiece in 37-42mm size. They are identical. not sure why they are sold as two separate items. **Q: My Diamondback eye piece is a 43mm outside diameter so which would be the best to go with?** A: I would get the 43mm as you would probably rip the rubber part of the covers if you’re trying to fit it over the top of your scope that’s larger. People have complained about the rubber ripping and it’s most likely because they bought a size too small. To be 100% sure, I would start with the 43mm caps and then when you get them try it on your scope and see how it fits and if it’s not to your liking then return it and order the next size up or down. **Q: In the size selection dropdown whats the difference between eyepeice and objective 43-48mm. are they the same thing?** A: Eyepiece is exactly what it says , it’s the lense closest to your eye , normally the smaller of the two lenses of a rifle scope , or spotting scope or binoculars . And the objective lense is usually the larger forward lens.
