Book Darts Line Markers - 125 Count Tin Mixed Metals Bookmarkers

I absolutely love these book marks. With care they easily slide on and off the pages without leaving marks. Just tight enough that they won't slide or move, but they aren't so heavy that when thumbing through I'd worry about tearing the page. The back of the dart is shorter than the arrow side so when I place it the text on the back of the page is not covered. They don't add to the weight or width of the book, even when using a considerable number of them. The metal tin works great for me. I use a magnetic pen holder/bookmark and the tin is easily held by the magnet to the front of the book. Well worth the cost, and I'll likely buy another when I have the funds.

These are excellent bookmarks and do not cause any damage to the pages or book at all. Very handy and easy to use and aesthetically pleasing. I will purchase these again and gift them to my favorite readers.

I adore these book darts. Prior to discovering book darts I would regularly stick post-it notes between pages or pause while reading to jot down quotes or page numbers to return to. Others may dog-ear pages and hate the crease it leaves. Book darts changed my reading life. Reasons I love them: 1) they slip on and off of a page so easily (the trick in removing them is to pull up slightly on the back of the dart and it will slide right off). 2) they are super-thin (never add any bulk to the book like a paperclip would). 3) they leave no mark or crease on the page whatsoever. 4) unlike post-it's you can point directly to the line you're interested in returning to. 5) the size of these are such that the text on the pages (front & back) aren't covered up at all in standard print books. 6) they're reusable. one tin of 125 is all you're likely to need in your life, assuming you don't leave them in books permanently (which you could do too). 7) The tin and book darts themselves are adorable, with a vintage feel and are very high quality. I could probably keep going and come up with a full list of 10 reasons of love these but I'll stop. I highly recommend!

I love these. I was hesitant at first because I didn't want to destroy the tin packaging they come in but I had no problem with mine. One of my best purchases as a book lover and student. The book I'm using in the pictures is from my philosophy class in college and I cannot stress over the fact of how useful these are. I have been using them for a while and I love them. They come in 3 different colors silver, gold, bronze. I am a student that does color code which is why I am ecstatic that they came in exactly 3 colors because I use exactly 3 colors. I was using the post-it tabs but I didn't like how over time the color would come off and it would be hard for me to distinguish the different colors but with these, the color hasn't rubbed off. It's also slim so that nothing is poking out like the post-it tabs. (You can see this in one of the pictures I put comparing the two.) If you are on the fence about getting them I would say just to get them. However, the only con I can see after using them for a while is that if you have thin pages it might not work out for you because could move around or other pages might get stuck under them. I ran out of them quickly because I replaced all my old tabs with these so I will be ordering more. ALSO, BEWARE IF YOU COLOR CODE WITH THESE BECAUSE YOU MIGHT RUN OUT OF ONE COLOR BEFORE THE OTHERS!!

These are wonderful! They are flat, small, can't get knocked out of the book, and there are enough of them that if I lose a few, it doesn't matter as much. They are tight at first as someone else mentioned, but it's not too bad. They are so thin that I had a hard time getting a photo of one along the edge of a page, so I apologize for it's blurriness. But you can see that it's barely thicker than the page. These won't leave marks on your pages like a paper clip or press on the other pages like the magnetic ones. They have nothing that sticks up and can get caught on something and get pulled out of the book. No worries about losing these, unless I forget to remove one before taking them to the library. They are so thin, I might be less likely to not notice it before dropping it in a book slot as the thicker magnetic ones, but they are cheap enough that I won't matter so much. I am keeping a pile of these where in the places I read the most often. The shiny surface does take finger prints, but I don't see this as a problem as it really isn't too noticeable, and like the surface enough that I wouldn't want them to change it. I also love the tin it came in and leave it out as a decoration in my office. Very nice. Edited: It's now been 5 years since I bought a couple tins of these and I still use them all the time. I'm actually buying another tin of them because I was right about forgetting them in books when I return them to the library. I've lost most of them that way now. You would think I would have learned by now, but apparently not. I've even seen books in the library that I returned a while ago with this darn book dart still in it! I guess that's what I get for not finishing the book. lol Very worthwhile purchase! I still highly recommend them. I even keep a few in the car now too.

The book darts work really well and were an appreciated gift to an avid reader that would normally take photos of pages for later reference. They’re thin and don’t damage pages. The problem is that the tin took over half an hour of twisting and prying with a screwdriver to manage to open and will now never be snapped shut for fear of having to wrangle it again in the future. We opened one side as much as possible using fingers, then with a flat screwdriver and a twisting motion repeatedly between the top and the raised lip on the bottom container managed to finally get it open. Without the issue with the container, would be a 5 star rating.

Love these, great for marking pages and won’t ruin them like anything sticky does

First of all - all the people who couldn't get the tin open must have never had to open this type of container before. I was able to open it no problem, even after just putting lotion on my hands - just grip the top and bottom firmly, and twist while lifting up the top at a slight angle to pop the top off - super easy open while also being super secure when closed, you could throw the tin in your bag and not have to worry about it popping open and spilling. The darts are super thin and so won't bulk up the book, and they are very elegant looking. They have an ever so slight up turn on the back rounded section to allow for easy placing on the page. All in all I would highly recommend.
