Exceptional value. Very easy and intuitive setup.
I almost cried. Very few things are ACTUALLY plug and play. This was so easy to set up and works as well or better than youโd expect. We bought this to replace an older L0rex system that was very sporadic for remote viewing. This worked immediately upon setup and with no fussiness. Used my existing POE wiring. Did not work with my old POE cameras, but it tells you that in the description. Itโs so easy setting up that as I plugged in the camera while standing on the ladder , just 30 seconds later I could see it in the app. Then I could adjust the camera without getting down. It also numbers the camera sequentially so despite the port the cable was in, itโs the next camera in line. You can always reassign them but unlike my old system, camera 16 was always the 16th spot so youโd have gaps. This is logical and sequential and you donโt have to guess which cable youโre on. The 2-way voice works well and is clear. The picture quality is great as well. I havenโt tested it deeply and havenโt tasted WiFi cameras yet. Donโt have any PTZ cams. Nor have I checked the storage usage running 8 cams at full res with audio, but so far the system is perfect. Iโm picky, and I canโt think of anything Iโd improve yet. Will add a few WiFi cameras to avoid running more cat5 soon.

Reolink Camera system is a good purchase.
โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ Best Security Camera System I've Ever Owned! I recently upgraded to the Reolink RLK16-1200B8-A 12MP PoE Security Camera System, and I am beyond impressed. I purchased this to replace a different home camera system that just wasnโt meeting my expectationsโand wow, the difference is night and day! The picture clarity on these 12MP cameras is absolutely stunning crystal clear during the day and surprisingly sharp at night thanks to the color night vision and built-in spotlights. You can clearly see faces, license plates, and fine details that my old system couldnโt begin to pick up. The person, vehicle, and pet detection features are a game changer. I love that I get smart alerts tailored to real motion, not just leaves blowing in the wind. And the two-way audio works incredibly well being able to speak directly through the cameras adds an extra layer of convenience and security. Playback and video review is super easy with the NVR system and included 4TB hard drive. Whether Iโm viewing recordings or taking snapshots, the interface is intuitive and fast. I was up and running in no time, and the app makes remote viewing seamless. Other features I really appreciate: Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) setup clean, simple, and reliable. 16-channel NVR allows plenty of room to expand if I ever want to add more cameras. Sturdy build quality these cameras feel like professional-grade equipment built to last. Honestly, I wish I had found this system years ago. Itโs the most complete, intelligent, and user-friendly camera system Iโve ever used, and Iโve tested a few. I highly recommend this to anyone serious about protecting their home or property. Reolink knocked it out of the park!

Commercial level system. Nice app too.
Been using cheaper systems for many years but the hard drives kept failing. So we went with this more expensive system because of good reviews and the 2 year warranty. It's been installed for several weeks now and seems to work great. I like the flexibility with reolink cameras too. NVR PoE cameras are easy to install and have excellent clarity. And Reolink has almost every kind of camera you could ever want. System comes with cat5 cable which is old and not used anymore. So I also purchased and used cat6 cables so I wouldn't have to run cables again if this system ever fails. But so far, we are very satisfied.

Great System
I purchased this system to replace a Speco commercial setup that was dropping a camera and required occasional resetting. Added 4 cameras to make an 8 camera setup. Setup was very easy. It came with 60 foot ethernet cables (I wish they came with 100 foot cables), one of which was a dud so I replaced with a custom Cat6 cable. 2 cameras needed to go through a hard reset but that solved a connectivity problem. Resolution is amazing and I like how they turn a spotlight on with detected movement. The app works flawlessly on my Windows 11 PC and also my Ipad and Android devices. I highly recommend this system.

Good brand and good system, can recommend.
Purchased this set for my church, they needed 12 cameras for a new security system. This system does POE and expandable HDD. It also had essential features that made me consider it highly. I looked over reviews and this was recommended by others so I gave it a try. Install of the device is actually very easy. running the cables in a hot attic, not so enjoyable. Once the cables were ran and I installed the connectors to each end, the hard work was done. I started the system up and formatted the HDD per the instructions. I connected the camera close tot he unit to test each camera first, they all worked great. then I connected them at their locations and screwed the cameras into place. Once I checked the system, each camera would show on the system quickly. Image quality is as expected for security, but I have not really review the footage for any details. System runs without a monitor, just use my phone to check the cameras. I did need a monitor to do the initial set-up, but after that it was not needed. System has been operating a week with some hot days on the outside cameras. I saw a review that they die after a few months. well, I'll update if they do. I would recommend this system to anyone looking for a DIY security camera system.

Great quality, easy setup, but operation is a little quirky and annoying at time.
I have a few solar powered wireless cameras from Reolink in areas I can't get cabling to, and was always happy with them. So when I needed to replace my old Defender camera system in a difference office I went with Reolink. Installation was quick and easy, and setting up the NVR and configuring the cameras etc. was quick and simple. I interact with my NVR mostly through the Desktop Client which is not badly laid out and with a little practice is pretty easy to use. But, and it's a big BUT, there are some bugs I'm finding after using it a few weeks now. Firstly, I cannot get the FTP backup feature working. I have been dealing with Reolink support on it for over a week now and there is still no solution. Simply put, the NVR refuses to follow the full directory address to the FTP location, and keeps trying to create the backups in the root directory. Because my backup is on a NAS RAID system the NAS won't allow it. However, if I use the full and correct location through Filezilla it works without an issue so I know the FTP server and the user information are all correct and work. So I have had to enable local save on the NVR and have a PC permanently running simply to handle that. It is by no means ideal but for the time it's all I can do. Secondly, the live view has gotten very jerky. It used to be nice and smooth running at clear setting. But within the last week or so it has gotten very jerky, to the point where it's useless even looking at it. Even trying to view the playback on the NVR can be quite jerky. But the saved files I get from the local save are perfect, clear, and nice and smooth. But not being able to look at a decent live feed or even the saved videos on the NVR is quite annoying. All in all it's a nice system, but with these issues I'd say it's just OK. I wouldn't get another one in the future unless the issues I currently face can be resolved with the system I have.

Went together with minor issue
Overall, I'm very happy with the Reolink 12MP Security Camera System. It came with 8 12MP B1200 cameras and the RLN16-410 NVR. I upgraded from an older Zmodo system that used lower resolution 1080p cameras and video/power octopus cables. The quality of the video is much better than the old system. There is also two way audio, a siren, and a spotlight in addition to the standard night vision IR lights. The one negative, the update check on the NVR reported all firmware up to date but a check of the Reolink support website found new firmware for the NVR and the cameras both. Installation using a USB drive went smoothly. Right off the bat, the POE ethernet setup eliminated two power bricks with octopus power connections for the old cameras. The fewer octopus cables to get tangled up the better. Running wires is never fun but it wasn't too bad either. Any pass thru that could fit the older BNC video connector could fit the RJ45 ethernet connector. However, the waterproof housing on one end of the provided cable needs a much larger 3/4 inch opening to pass through so you need to run the cable from the camera to the NVR so you are passing the end with only the RJ45 connector through any pass thru. (Wrap the RJ45 connector with some tape to prevent damage to the retaining tab on the top of the connector) The front door camera was mounted on vinyl siding using a lapped mounting plate and tapping the mounting holes on the camera to accept a screw thread to keep things flush to the siding, otherwise the mounting was pretty straight forward. Powering up the NVR was without incident. Cameras take a minute to boot up. The updated firmware had a nice home page update. It took some experimenting to figure out the how the motion detection sensitivity and AI person/pet/vehicle detection work. But with some non-detection area mapping, I was able to get things to the point where I wasn't getting too much un-necessary triggering. in addition, you have to separately configure recording, email and push notifications (in order to get the notifications you want or email with a picture or recording). Finally, I added a Wi-Fi6 8MP 4K E1 Outdoor Pro camera and brought that into the NVR feeds. It's been a month and a recent storm with 50 mph winds and rain and everything is good.

Absolute Garbage. Donโt waste your money.
The cameras and DVR are really quite nice. Their software makes the cameras and DVR virtually useless. We had breakins in my neighborhood. The police came by to see if I can provide video. I cannot login to my system and their password recovery process is an absolute joke. In order to reset the password, I had to send the request to a different e-mail that was not part of my profile. Think about that. Then, it sent me this code to enter. I entered it, but then had to validate it on the app, which required a code that I needed to login to the app to get. Do yourself a favor, save money and time by going wirh another company. I am literally going to try throw mine out.

Easy to set up. POE cables included in the kit.
Ease of setup and the fact that 100-ft Poe cables are included for each camera was a mind blower. Can absolutely recommend these. The application for PC and phone works perfectly without granting the NVR. Any access to the cloud which is exactly what I was looking for. I just installed these but I will try to remember to update in 6 months. As of right now this is a solid five-star purchase.

Got SCAMMED BY REOLINK
Sadly I have been SCAMMED by REOLINK I ordered the order and for the first couple of months it was running fine in tell a storm came and the NVR has dead on me. I have reached to Reolink for my warranty and the accepted my warranty and sent me a link to order the NVR from and the will pay me back my warranty, but sadly the link that they sent me was the same product buy different sellers and I have told the, but the told me that the link was 100% there's I proceed now 1 month later they are denying the situation and not really helping me with my warranty.
