Daler-Rowney Goldfinger Gilding Colours, Aluminium Tube, 0.74oz - 22 ml, Antique Gold

This is my favourite Gilding paste. It's easy to apply with you finger, cloth or brush & a little goes a long way & when it's dry just buff to a shine with a soft cloth.

Works perfectly. So easy to use.

Great product, creates a very nice effect that looks authentic. Very easy to apply and builds well. Gives a very rich colour (Antique Gold) and a very small amount goes an awfully long way. Bit trickier in smaller corners as it doesn't apply well with a brush (where fingers are too big) but excellent application when used as instructed. Would recommend!

I wanted something to restore old gilt frames and this is perfect It goes on a treat, you can smudge it with your finger, blemishes disappear. Delighted.

The paint is really good and easy to use. It took me around 50 minutes to paint quite an ornate and very large over mantle mirror frame and one small tube goes a long way. However, the antique gold colour is really misleading. The colour the picture leads you to believe you’d get is not what you get. it’s a very orangey-copper colour which is not very nice. I have ordered a lighter colour in the hope it will be right.

This product is absolutely superb to cover up marks and scratches. I used it on a gold frame of a picture and it covered the marks brilliantly. It is so easy to use putting it on with your finger and it does work. Would highly recommend.

Bought to help renovate a regency gilt overmantel mirror used with finger and also with brush when diluted for larger areas, made a lot of difference, to overall look.

This paint was so vivid and beautiful! It helped us upcycle an old bureau. Easy to use but in smaller areas - where you can’t get your fingers - it doesn’t adhere well to a brush so be prepared.
