As good a Rawl plug experience as humanly possible
Hung two different kinds of blinds with these in the last few days. Not even a wobble from either. They fit big an small screws equally well

Worked well in both plaster and brick
These plugs hold well, and turned out to be equally good for plasterboard and brick. I used a 6mm masonry drill in plaster and brick (where hole diameter appears a bit larger than the drill size).

Dubious Drill Size
The description says 'Takes screw size No. 8'. However, the product says size 7, as does one of the reviews. I'd be very surprised if you have a size 7 - my set includes a 6 and 8. I used a size 6 and a hammer but not ideal. I think 8 could be too loose for stability in plasterboard.
