Excellent!! Got the job done in the garden

These blocks work. Simple as that. Rat gone within 2 days. I live in a rural area backing onto farm land. Mice, rats, voles etc. are regular visitors. I have used different bait over the years with varying results. These blocks are not the cheapest but they are the most effective. I do use proper pest control stations so as not to hurt other wildlife and pets.

I’ve been dealing with a rat issue in my garden, and the ROSHIELD bait box has proven to be a helpful part of the solution. The build quality is excellent—it feels robust and secure, and the lockable design gives peace of mind, especially if you have pets or children around. It’s reassuring to know the bait is kept safely out of reach. One clever feature is the circular bait design, which is threaded through a central rod inside the box. This stops the rats from running off with the bait and encourages them to feed on the spot. It’s a smart touch that sets this product apart from others I’ve tried. That said, the box is quite lightweight, so it does need to be weighed down with a brick or something similar to prevent it from being moved. Placing it directly along known rat runs—like next to walls or fences—definitely improves its effectiveness. It would have been even better if it included an integrated anchoring system for added stability. Overall, a well-made, thoughtfully designed product that works well with a bit of strategic placement. A few small improvements would make it perfect, but I’d still recommend it as a solid, pet-safe option.

Does what its meant to do at a cost you can afford, easy to put into bate boxes. bate boxes keep the poison safely away from your pets and animals.

I'm not sure how poisonous this is as the rodents liked it so much they made a nest in the bag after chewing through it. No sign of any ill/expired rodents. But most of the bait gone.

I have a tip to increase its rapid take up - see below. I've got rats under my knee height raised beds. I've been adding these in 2 bait traps. However the clever rats filled the rat traps with soil, preventing other rats from being poisoned. I persisted and the numbers visible in my garden at night tailed off to zero. Whenever they open up a tunnel in my raised beds I roll a couple of these down the hole straight into the nest. I then refill the hole, mainly to see if there are any that are still alive and active. They do consume these as is. To increase the consumption rate I bought a cheap squeezy bottle of honey and coat the outside of the tablets in honey. That's definitely worked.
