5 stars from me. It worked well out of the box. I started work within 2minutes. The weak link was the o2 coverage (via giffgaff). After 9 months the unit started to turn itself off. I did normal diagnostics and then reported it to d-link support. They were very impressive and sent me a replacement very quickly under the two year warranty. For the price/value, this unit is impossible to beat. I'd buy from d-link again without hesitation.

Great little mobile broadband. Replacement for my ZTE which I will never buy again. Although I just got it, the quality is clear. Has an SD slot which is an interesting addition.

I like the portability and size. Was easy to set up, battery life not bad. Issues, if you use it on a 4k smart TV, ensure you have 3 to 4 bars or it will buffer or drop signal, also using other devices causes same issue while 4k TV is streaming. I'm using Smarty network which is 3. Maybe other network sims work better, ideal for caravan or camping and using a power bank to recharge it, can recharge while using it.

Bought for a stop gap to provide some wifi/internet when moving properties where we would be without broadband for 3 weeks. This is garbage. Zero connection & failed to interface with internet. Signal continually dropping. Only one connection at any time… 2 iPhones strangled connectivity add a iPad & it’s totally froze… Unable to lock on to internet at all… forget logging into any Amazon channel. Bit surprised that peoples feedback was so positive - especially when it wont allow connection to Amazon video? I’m going to have to try a better product that will allow me to watch tv! Waste of time & money & I can’t be bothered to return it, now in the bin 👹.

I have been using this as my broadband (not technically) as I do not wish to renew the contract with NOW TV. It is so easy to use, just pop-in your SIM card (I have purchased smarty with unlimited internet) and you are online in less than 10 mins. Regarding speed, this is where the device needs to around best spot in your flat/house where the connection is strongest i.e. four network bars are visible on your device if you are going to use it for Netflix or other streaming. I tried in places where only 2 bars are visible, but then speed drops and streaming is not seamless and there is some buffering. Also keep in mind that closer to the device, better are the speeds. On full charge it stays for ~4 hours. I notice the power icon changes to red when charge is dropped below 20%. At the moment, I am happy with my purchase.

This works as advertised as a cheapo budget hotspot. Often, I need internet access when my phone must stay off (when interviewing people etc). This is useful for that. However, I have discovered that I need to fully charge it on the day before I need to use it, else I can't guarantee that it will be charged. It caught me out once a couple of months back. When it's charged and turned on, the battery life is adequate for my needs and seems to last for quite a few hours.

Very impressed with this device ... you cant go wrong with Dlink, their products are high quality and built to last for years. I bought this to replace my Huawei wifi dongle. will never buy huawei again , after a year the battery was overheating, the batteries are mass produced and cheap .. in the end it heated up the plastic covering and cracks started appearing .. after 2 years the whole device is cracked and broken .. very cheap product. Upon this product arriving you can tell the quality is higher, better plastic, tougher, thicker, higher quality all round. Stylish , easy to use .. take the cover off, pop in your sim card ... and locate the device on your system ... 3 easy steps .. plus it is mobile and doesnt need to be plugged into anything, which is a massive advancement on huawei... very impressed and would highly recommend it ... to anyone who needs on a mobile wifi device ...

I bought this router to use it abroad and I have to say that the performances for me were outstanding. Wifi coverage is really good ( 40/50 sqm aparment ) and battery life is amazing. Ive been using the router on batter for at least 4/5 hours with no issues. It can stay connected to a power supply for 2 days ( i did the test ) with no crashes or degradation of the performance. Obviously you need to have good 4g coverage on LTE to have decent performance but if you have 3/4 bars and LTE you can also do Teams call with video with no issues.

Ho acquistato questo hotspot D-Link DWR-932 e ne sono rimasto davvero soddisfatto. L'installazione è stata semplicissima: ho configurato la scheda SIM direttamente da telefono e successivamente ho avuto accesso completo al pannello di gestione tramite l’interfaccia web (es: 192.168.0.1), che si è rivelata chiara e ben organizzata. In pochi minuti sono riuscito a personalizzare il nome della rete e impostare la password, tutto con facilità anche per chi non è un esperto. La potenza del segnale è ottima: stabile, veloce e senza interruzioni, perfetto sia per il lavoro che per lo streaming o la navigazione. Esteticamente è molto bello, compatto e leggero — sta comodamente in tasca o nello zaino. Anche la durata della batteria è più che sufficiente per una giornata fuori casa. Lo consiglio a chi cerca un dispositivo affidabile, semplice da configurare e pronto all’uso, magari anche per chi viaggia spesso o ha bisogno di una connessione stabile in zone dove il Wi-Fi domestico non arriva bene.

Works for first month or 2 perfectly and im using this as a remote router for a area thats a wifi blackspot in a shed Then your spend the rest of the time cutting your thumb open trying to undo the back to take the battery out and put it back in to turn it back on again If its for the same reason as mine by the tp link amplifier or a cat cable

Estaba buscando un router móvil para cuando tengo que trabajar cuando estoy de viaje y no quiero descargar la batería de mi teléfono rápidamente. El aparato funciona y es barato, pero la velocidad que da es muy baja. Lo he probado con líneas de O2, Orange y Digi y con todas es más o menos lo mismo. Por ejemplo, con una línea de Digi, en mi móvil he logrado descargar a 400Mbps pero en este aparato usando el mismo chip, en el mismo lugar, no me da más de 15Mbps, está bien que es solo 4G y el móvil 5G, pero creo que la velocidad debería ser mayor. Sin embargo, por lo que vale (me costó 16 euros en oferta) decidí conservarlo y no devolverlo.

Dit is eindelijk een toestel dat werkt met een Telenet data simkaart! Ik heb het zeer snel kunnen instellen, geen probleem. 2 andere toestellen van een ander merk, heb ik moeten terugsturen, die erkenden de data simkaart niet. Eindelijk een oplossing met deze dlink_DWR-932 mobiel routertje.

Ich habe den D-Link DWR-932 Mobiler LTE WLAN Hotspot nun seit drei Jahren im Einsatz und er ist nach wie vor der perfekte Begleiter, wenn man unterwegs mal einen vernünftigen und schnellen Hotspot braucht. Empfangsprobleme hatte ich bisher damit nicht, zumindest nicht dort, wo auch ein Handy oder ähnliches Empfang hat. Leider hat das Gerät keinen Anschluss für eine externe Antenne, was aber beim Bestellen schon klar war. Das Gerät kam damals, wie heute, mit microUSB, ein Upgrade auf USB-C wäre hier sinnvoll. Die Konfiguration, sowie Inbetriebnahme ist denkbar einfach, auch wenn das Öffnen des Gehäuses gerade, wenn das Gerät neu ist, ein wenig mit Kraft verbunden ist. Im Gehäuse ist ein auswechselbarer Akku in einem weit verbreitetem Format, sowie der Slot für eine SIM-Karte (standart großes Format) und einer microSD-Karte. Anzumerken ist, dass man die beiden Slots zum Öffnen und verriegeln nach vorne bzw. hinten schieben muss, nicht nach oben bzw. unbewegt lassen. Wenn der Batteriedeckel darauf ist, ist immer noch genug Platz, um unter dem Akku eine zweite SIM-Karte zu lagern (nicht vom Hersteller so vorgesehen, finde ich aber ziemlich praktisch). Die wichtigsten Informationen (ob und wie gut man Netz hat, ob WLAN an ist, sowie Batteriestand, Status, ob das Gerät an ist und ob eine SMS gekommen ist) kann man an den LEDs oben ablesen, eine energiesparendere Methode als Geräte mit einem LCD-Display. Das Gerät hat eine vernünftige Akkulaufleistung und händelt auch problemlos mehr als nur WLAN-Geräte (mit fünf hatte ich keine Probleme). Geschwindigkeit ist ordentlich, natürlich entsprechend dem Standard 4G/LTE zu sehen (das Gerät kann kein 5G). Die Möglichkeit zum Einschub einer microSD-Karte ist praktisch um via WLAN mal eben vom Handy oder sonstige Geräte Bilder rüber zu ziehen, z.B. um Platz auf dem Handy zu machen, wenn dies mal wieder voll ist. In Zeiten von immer weniger werdenden Möglichkeiten der Speichererweiterungen bei Handys eine sehr sinnvolle Sache. Auch nach nunmehr drei Jahren hält das Akku auch noch vernünftig und das Gerät selbst hat auch keinerlei Probleme. Ein sehr kompaktes Gerät zu einem vernünftigen Preis. Zur Info: Die Kratzer im Bild sind da, da das Gerät bereits drei Jahre alt ist und ständig mit mir mitkommt.
