Monsters Inc [DVD] [2001] [Region 1] [US Import] [NTSC]

I love this film!

It's a classic family film.

My wife and I recently visited Walt Disney World and during a haloween party we spotted some of the Monsters Inc characters out dancing at one of the dance parties and it got us talking about the film, having not watched Monsters Inc in a few years I didn't have the best memories of the film and remembered it being fairly good so when we returned from the holiday we purchased the film and I got a chance to see it again after a number of years and I must say that it was so much better than I ever remembered it being. The film has a great story and entire world created that just feels real and believable which draws you into the film and thanks to the amazing animation and voice acting you find yourself having a real affection for the characters. This is a film I know will now have pride of place and one I will be watching quite a few times in the future.

Whats not to like classic great family watch

Without a doubt one of Pixar’s all time greats. Picture quality was excellent, last time I’d seen the film was when I was about 7 on our family VHS player. Played in high definition Blu-Ray on my PlayStation 4 and Samsung T.V everything looked gorgeous, plus the sound quality was really top notch. The missing star in my review simply comes from the box the film came in. Slight dent in the top right corner, unfortunate. Also the box didn’t come in the sleeve as I had assumed the photo showed. Regrettable but hardly a major catastrophe. Overall a wonderful childhood experience relived with a slight diminishment upon inspection of the box.

One of my all time favourites. Seen it several times but it loses none of its charm and is still just as much fun now as it was the first time I saw it. Wonderful characters and many of them totally adorable. Brilliant plot line the chase scene with all the doors had me on the edge of my seat. Boo was way too cute and Sully was really a big cuddly softy. I loved Celia as well, her rattle snakes looked really good, just glad she never had her hair cut.

What a great movie

I absolutely love this film, not as much as Finding Nemo admittedly, but it's my 2nd fave Pixar film. My favourite scenes are where Sulley thinks Boo has gone through the machine and keeps fainting (tears of laughter there) and at the end where he goes back to visit her when she's older (real tears then!). It's just a wonderful film, laugh out loud funny and very moving by turns, the baddies get their comeuppance in the end (as they should), Mike finally sees that all kids are not evil, and Roz, well she's the boss! Billy Crystal and John Goodman were the perfect pairing for the main characters voices, and I really liked the extras at the end. Well done Pixar.

Die Monster AG" ist ein zauberhafter Animationsfilm, der Groß und Klein gleichermaßen begeistert! Die Animation ist liebevoll gestaltet und auch heute noch optisch ein Genuss. Sulley und Mike sind ein unschlagbares Duo, deren Freundschaft und Witz den Film perfekt tragen. Die Story ist herzerwärmend, kreativ und unterhält von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute. Ein echter Familienfilm-Klassiker, der für viele Lacher und auch ein paar rührende Momente sorgt. Klare Kaufempfehlung für die ganze Familie! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Chargement plutot long ceci en comparaison à d'autres BR qui eux se chargent vite. Disney est pénible en imposant leurs pubs au lancement du disque... Aspects techniques. Vidéo :Disque en Blu ray 2K. Visualisé sur un TV OLED 56" HDR et lecteur OPPO 4K HDR et ampli Yamaha RX A3050 l'image est belle, détaillée, bonne résolution et définition. Pas de bruit, l'image est fluide, pas de figeage. Ce n'est pas anormal bien au contraire c'est de l'image de synthèse. Son: La bande son est en français DTS ES 5.1, excellente , il y a du DTS HD master audio 5.1 en anglais. Voix bien lisible sur la voie centrale. Espace sonore bien rempli, bonne spatialisation, Excellente dynamique, bon niveau pas besoin de pousser l'ampli dans ses derniers retranchements. Point de vue artistique: Excellent scénario, et très bonne intrigue, histoire vraiment peu banale aux nombreux gags ! Nombreux personnages, monstres (à faire palir Star wars et Mr Spielberg) droles, tendres, attendrissants et même des méchants. Trés beau graphisme et dessins. Bonus très quelconques. Globalement un magnifique et génial film, drole, plein d'humour et d'émotion pour les plus grands et les plus petits (pas trop petit tous de même), plaisir à partager en famille. Moi, j'adore...

I almost bought this on Amazon.fr. But luckily I didn't because I didn't want to wait a month to receive this like what I did when I got Little Mermaid and Ratatouille. So I saw this and got it. As it came into the mail, my sister was confused about why I get these. I told her that I get them because they can easily burn on Magic DVD Ripper as it automatically removes restrictions like Region Code.
