Strata Smart Box Clip-On Folding Lid Carry Handles 40 Litre Clear Ref HW674CLR

This is the first strata box I bought, initially to store cleaning materials but once it arrived I am now using it to store everyday paperwork and personal essentials during a house move. The easy access from two flaps is excellent. The box has a clip and click feature for the lid at the centre point of the box where the lid fits snug into place allowing for easy access. The handles fold over to secure the lid into place and have a strong snug fit, making moving of the box with contents easy to manage. The box itself is very strong, well made and the lid is equally great. It’s not flimsy in any sense and if another similar box was to be stored on top I am certain it would stack well and the lid doesn’t look like it will sink with reasonable weight on it, obviously you’d have to apply caution when loading anything on top but stacking of similar boxes looks good. I have gone on to further buy the 55 and 65 litre boxes of the same brand and design. Very pleased with them and I would buy from this seller again and I highly recommend the item for quality, design and especially the sturdiness of the item. I feel confident it will last a long while if looked after.

Very solid box with lid that can be opened from either end. The wheels on the bottom make it easy to move around when it’s full. I drink a lot of flavoured water and was always trying to find somewhere to put the bottles so I didn’t keep knocking them over. Placed this brilliant box by the front door and I can simply put the bottles straight in. No need to carry heavy bags to the kitchen and struggle to keep them out of the way. It’s even better for putting the shopping in and getting it to the kitchen and wheel it round putting everything away. There’s millions of uses that this box is fantastic for. You can also see what’s inside and how soon to fill it again. Definitely going to buy more of these.

**Update...** I use this almost daily and it is as good now, a year on, as when I first bought it. Very good. **Original review...** I've only deducted a star as it would be useful to have some kind of lip or recess near the bottom of the crate to enable one to slide it out from a high shelf. And the longevity of the double-flapped lid hasn't been tested (it is only attached to the base with small clips each side of the centre). But I'd definitely recommend it. Mine arrived in one piece with the lid thoughfully folded and placed out of harm's way inside the box. The individual access flaps for each side are novel and useful. Excellent for what we wanted and wish we'd bought years ago. As described, good sturdy box. Used daily, multiple times. Would buy again.

Would have given this five stars as it is really capacious so holds everything and more, but little tag that holds lid on one Side broken so did not engage the lug so lid loose and easily came off. Too fragile for the purposes such a box is put to.

Brought a smaller one for my Dog's bits. Thought it was great, to be able to lift a small part of the lid and for that lid to be able to be locked. Unlike other type of storage boxes I brought prior to this. I was impressed with the first one I brought, that when I needed one for my Bits and Pieces, I looked no further. This was the 75L one and it's just what I needed. Plus it you put too much in it, there are wheels on the bottom to help. It's a great bit of kit and a great make. I would highly recommend it for anyone's storage requirements!!!

The item itself was fine, however didn’t suit my needs (I hoped it would fit under the sink cupboard) so I asked to return but Amazon were unable to confirm return options due to large size and ended up issuing a refund and telling me to dispose as I saw fit, however I ended up being charged for never returning! So not great service from Amazon but the box itself was sturdy, just too big for me.

Je n'étais pas toute à fait certaine de la qualité du couvercle mais c'est tout à fait ingénieux et très solide. Je l'utilise pour bac à jouets pour mon garçon et outre le plaisir à ouvrir et fermer, il peut se pratiquer à marcher en se tenant dessus.

Good item

Hanno delle linee molto squadrate che permettono di sfruttare tutto lo spazio interno. Sono robusti, hanno delle rotelle per il trasporto, le maniglie che fungono anche da blocchi di chiusura. Il coperchio apribile nelle due semi parti, viene affrancato al corpo sottostante con dei agganci rapidi a metà profilo; una volta chiuso garantisce che la polvere non entri. Li ho acquistati a poco più di 11 euro.
