Love these. Very cute illustrations with high quality feeling cards and box. Stuck on my wall. Very happy.

Grim, hilarious and darkly poetic; this is a small deck (20 cards and a booklet), but the high quality cardboard and sleek finish of the cards make up for it. A beautiful item, and a must-have for Gorey completists and pessimistic aesthetes.

Spikey corners got the chop pretty much straight away as they hurt.. but this is a really well put together little deck.. I love the images and the dark humour in the deck. Fun little add on to my collection and pretty on point 😱🤣👌🏻

A must have for any Edward Gorey fan

This deck arrived quickly and the quality is great. I have lots of tarot and oracle decks and this one caught my eye. Lots of fun and love the illustrations!

Regardless of the reason for my reading I was always able to find some relevance to the problem at hand...... and laugh

Lo compré porque creí que era una especie de oráculo, pero en realidad no lo es. Es una sátira al tarot. Lleno de humor negro. Por ejemplo las instrucciones son: "Sostén las cartas en la mano izquierda, en el centro de una habitación con pocos muebles, lanza las cartas al aire y con los ojos cerrados toma cinco y forma de una cruz..." Una carta puede significar desde alopecia hasta accidente en un teatro. Evidentemente todas las cartas tienen un sentido negativo. Fue bastante cómico para mi, aunque definitivamente no lo podré usar para el propósito que fue comprado. Aun así me desprendió más de una sonrisa. Son 20 cartas plastificadas de 12x6.5 cms, con un breve instructivo y en caja gruesa. Es un artículo bastante extraño, de colección para los admiradores de Edward Gorey. Actualización: pese a no ser precisamente un oráculo, decidí probarlo como tal. Como todas las cartas tienen significados negativos, si la carta sale invertida, la interpreto con el significado contrario al de la posición natural, (si dice mala suerte, invertida lo interpreto como buena suerte). Lo he utilizado durante varios días, sacando una carta al día y comparando los eventos del día. Quitando todos los significados de broma e improbables.... resulta ser un oráculo bastante preciso. Linda sorpresa, divertido y acertado :)

This is a fun deck full of witty and macabre humor -- very Edward Gorey! It's a must have if you love his work! The box is very sturdy, and the cards are as well. Enclosed is a little white book that explains the various card meanings. The only annoyance is that the cards are not numbered, so it's a little bit of a hassle to rifle through the booklet to decipher meanings.
