Adjustable
This is very well made and comes with a smaller mirror if needed, being able to adjust the angles is very helpful, there is white writing on the casing but it is mainly on the bottom or the back you don't really see it, I'm not sure you would call it portable but it does fold up.

Helpful for At-Home Rehab
The Syrebo Smart Mirror Therapy Box is a great tool for anyone recovering from stroke, CRPS, or doing hand and speech therapy. Functionality is good and well-priced. The mirror is clear, adjustable, and well-built, with safety in mind as it is big enough but not a hazard. Only downside: the “smart” feature is a bit basic, and there’s some printed text on the mirror that can be distracting. Still, it’s a solid product that makes mirror therapy more accessible at home.

brilliant
The mirror box design has been around for years and is used by therapists to help people with phantom limb pain and also for stroke patients. Look it up – fascinating. The device encourages the brain to create new neural pathways. I was diagnosed with hemiplegia, a form of cerebral palsy when I was a baby. Hemiplegia is brain damage resulting in one side of the body being weaker than the other side. In my case, my right arm and leg are weaker than the left counter parts. I use this mirror box, covering my right hand and forearm and holding a tennis ball in each of my hands. Then #i move both hands in tandem, e.g. squeezing the balls, lifting fingers and so on. I look down on my left hand and see the reflection in the mirror, which appears to be my right hand. This strengthens and develops the pathways in my brain. I feel it is really helping, and I use the device daily. This mirror is presented in a lovely sturdy box, very nice. And it is a very good size. It is easy to set up and comes with a little instruction book, although I would suggest you search online for more ideas.

mirror, mirror...
i must admit that i was dubious, when i first got this. could visual mockery really help to alleviate pain, be it physical or neuropathic. i suffer with a handful of both types. arthritis and lupus being the ones that cause most of the issues. i can see where and how this is supposed to help. take on 'healthy' body part, hide the other and add a mirror. cognitive learning. the mind sees 'both' moving and pain free. so it mimics that brain function when the other isn't in a box. i guess with lengthy use rehabilitation, for some or all function could be returned. unfortunately for me, both sides are almost in synch at a moderate to severe pain rating. mirroring pain management doesn't quite work the same. maybe there's something i've missed. it does come with a hefty price tag £59.99 (atow), which maybe a fair price if i had experience in using it properly (maybe under the guidance of O/H for starters).

Great design mirror
This mirror therapy box rehabilitation for stroke doing great job i must admit, it is very easy to fold and unfold mirror box. The benefits of using this mirror are: 1) Reducing pain 2) Improving motor function 3) Promoting neuroplasticity 4) Help individuals regain strength, range of motion, and coordination in the affected limb 5) Aids in reducing phantom limb pain by reestablishing the brain's connection between perception and movement I really like that the angle of the mirror can be adjusted from 65° to 90°, greatly improve the comfort of use for sure. Really good quality at all, the whole mirror box is wrapped by the soft leather wrapped. Great value for money product. I can highly recommend it to anyone.

Opening this mirror, I felt like I was opening a new iPhone or some other high end device. The packaging was exquisite in both design and function. The box, the printing, the packaging. It all felt "high end". And the mirror itself was just as nice. It folds up cleanly. When it folds out and is setup it feels secure and rugged. I know this type of physical therapy is used less and less but my patients do seem to stay more focused when using the mirror. I travel to patients and so that is why I have the mirror. A few of my patients even went out and purchased the same mirror because they were so impressed with the quality.

The mirror when it arrives is not entirely black as shown in the photographs. It's covered with Asian writing/lettering. I mean everywhere. And in bright white print. I found it very distracting to the product. It's intended to "hide" the affected extremity while the individual does a therapy activity, but the writing is so distracting that I'm questioning it's effectiveness in activating the mirror neurons it is intended for. I have covered it in electrical tape (since it showed through black Sharpie)!
