The movie tells the story of two Brooklyn plumbers who are brothers and best friends: Mario, the brave one with the "let's-a go" attitude, and the perpetually anxious Luigi, who would prefer to go nowhere. The only downside is there's no Yoshi… my daughter is a little sad about this!

Great movie! If only it had Yoshi!
Take this film at face value! It's for kids, but it is great for parents to watch as well! We really can't stop singing "Peaches" in our house! Jack Black knocked it out of the park again! The beginning and some parts with Bowser can be a little frightening, but if your young one can get through it, then the facade is dropped quite quickly and Bowser is a much funnier antagonist than scary. It is an enjoyable movie overall, with lots of jokes and Easter eggs for parents and Mario fans alike! We love this film, and I’m sure you will too! The only downside is there's no Yoshi… my daughter is a little sad about this!

Great movie, and has Jack Black in it.
OK, so the trailers really set the movie up for something bigger than it actually was, such as the expectation of more Mario themed music throughout the film, but instead, was more generic music heard from films over the last 30 years. The story was good, although it felt a little short and rushed, probably to appeal to young audiences, rather than the older fan club. But overall the film doesn't disappoint, and has alot of laughter.

A Fun Family Friendly Movie
Finally a movie based on a video game that isn't terrible! Kids love it and there are plenty of Easter Eggs for us old enough to remember the early days of the NES!

Love this!
I am an adult, otherwise known as a big kid at heart! I love all things Mario, so this purchase was a no brainer! I'm not too sure why some people are happy to knock the movie, I mean, sure, it won't win any Oscars, ha ha, but it's meant to be a bit or harmless fun, I think people should buy this based on this alone! I loved it, great fun to watch, go Mario! Ha ha!

Product was as it should be. Brand new,factory sealed,region free--played perfectly fine. I bought this without ever having watched it before because I also like to collect stuff--have to say the cheesey '90s movie was better but I'm not going to rate the product itself lower for that.
