Good gloves to use for plant work

Fits like a...Glove!!!
First off, I hate wearing gloves. I like being able to "feel" the material I'm working with. With the current trend in commercial construction, I had resigned myself to being forced to wear the latest foam type rubber gloves that allowed you a layer of protection while giving you a decent amount of tactile manipulation. These gloves go way beyond that. Yes, you end up having two finger tips and the end of your thumb exposed but the durability and comfort of the rest of the glove provides a huge amount of protection. They fit like a glove should fit! These gloves will not melt onto you when they come in contact with hot material (I'm a plumber so I'm always soldering and brazing, they would probably burn up in a welding environment). They are comfortable to wear and they allow you to pick up or manipulate the material you're working on. After a month of constant day to day use the only complaint I have is that they begin to smell a little ripe. You'll need an extra pair to allow for washing and drying. The gloves themselves are holding up wonderfully with no noticeable wear and tear. These are a pair of gloves that you find yourself looking to put on after break rather than being forced to wear them.

These are great carpenter gloves
If youโre a carpenter/framer these gloves are for you. I usually wear a large size but I want them to be tight and the medium fit great. Just the right amount of protection for your hands but plenty of dexterity for picking nails out of your pouch or manipulating tools. Donโt use these for demo work or any task that will wear them out quickly as they are not real tough and they are not meant to be. They are made to be used for framing and general carpentry work. I love them. Btw way I probably have over 50 pairs of work related gloves that I have accumulated over the decades of working with my hands so I know what Iโm talking about.

Durable and comfortable framing gloves
I just purchased a second pair of these great gloves. The first pair actually lasted through two years of heavy framing use. Pretty impressive. I don't know of any work glove that will last that long. The gloves protect your hands very well and are fairly comfortable and form fitted, maintaining a high level of dexterity. On the down side... I noticed that the styling has changed a bit, with the thumb hole being larger in the newer gloves (both pair in size large). The two cut-off fingers are slightly longer as well. I ended up snagging material a few times with that larger thumb hole. These changes are not really a big deal. They just didn't seem to work as well for me. The fit is critical for the best performance. If possible, I would recommend trying on a pair before ordering to make sure you maintain that trim fit. I usually wear large work gloves and, with these, I'm right on the border between medium and large (according to the included sizing card that the gloves come attached to).

Well almost Perfect... But my 5 starts might help you pick up some of them yourself !!!
Well almost perfect. when I got them I couldn't wait to look at them and try them on... The fit wonderfully .. But a tiny bit of the stitching started to unravel. But has not come apart. been using almost everyday. for over 7 hours straight. They are holding up strong. And they really do help my get my job done. started to smell bad after the 2nd week .. But washed them 3 day before the reviews. Pleased to say that now every time my hands get close .. I smell fresh clean laundry. And for the price .. I will be buying them again .. but only when needed. maybe next year .. not sure yet .. and not sure that i will have to ... What can I say... They are a gift to my hands. Update... Sep 30, 2016 fix some of my spelling errors. And will say again .. They are a gift to my hands !!! Update Feb 25, 2017 Well did there job well .. put in another order today.

Lots of nice features but they stink, literally.
I wear gloves a lot for my work but I also need to interact with touch screens and these seemed like a great fit (size wise they are!). The cut away and stiched edges make them long lasting and the soft fiber on the lower thumb areas make it great for face drying/rubbing. Not scratchy at all. However, Even with regular washing after a day or two of wearing.... My hands stink like an unwashed foot. I wash my hands regularly and have used plenty of other gloves and have never ran into this even with other CLC gloves. Unsure what the difference is but I'll be buying other gloves and just cutting the tips off. I've bought multiple pairs of this glove over the last couple of years trying to find a solution because once again they check every box I'm looking for in a glove and want them to be my goto gloves but it just isn't going to happen currently.

Better than Iron Clad gloves
Have had these for a month. they are very durable and comfortable. My previous was a pair of Iron Clad brand. These CLC are way better. The feature I like best is the neoprene padding over the nuckles. I highly recomend.

Lots of airflow
Gloves ripped in multiple places the first time I put them on. They didn't survive long enough for me to hold my first tool. The first hole at the wrist meeting the thumb and the second hole opened on the side where the pinky finger bends. Hands fit comfortably inside with room left over so it's not squeezing my hand so that's a plus. The material used for the threads is not very good quality.

Great gloves
These are nearly perfect. I install cables and I use these gloves when things get grimy or cold. The cut-off fingers allow good dexterity for handling screws and small parts. The only thing that doesn't work for me is the padding on the palm. While it's great for dampening vibrations from hammering and power tools, it makes things awkward for writing with a pen or pencil.

Long lasting and comfortable
I have had several of these, and they aren't just for work, they are better made and cheaper than most weight gloves too. I like everything about them except the price. No real back of hand protection, so not for hot work or wire.
