I used titanium white watercolor ground, let dry, then lightly sanded to prep them for watercolors. Other mediums would not need that step. I’m making Christmas ornaments for my granddaughters. One loves horses, the other loves volleyball. I’ve created a design on both sides of the prepped “coasters” for each of them. I will be drilling a hole in each and threading a ribbon through for hanging on the Christmas tree. I will also use a finishing spray as watercolors need protection. I will post a picture when they are finished.
