Seriously the best invention ever. Took this with us on multiple trips for my 1 year old who has serious FOMO and has to sleep in a pitch black room with a sound machine. The pocket up top for a monitor is great for a portable sound machine. It does require a bit of space to put together but was overall easy to put together. I didn’t feel like it was too hot - has good ventilation.

Daughter bought this for granddaughter when visiting. It is placed over the Pack n Play for naps and night. Definitely works. It is an award pain to put together but breaks down to medium-small pack for transport material is sturdy.

We've learned by now that every kid is different. We bought this alongside a Hiccapop Inflatable Travel Toddler Bed for our various trips in the past year. What helped us was to not only air it out, but also have it out a few weeks before our first trip to get her familiar with it. There is always a chance your kid won't like it, we're very grateful ours does. It has proven very helpful as we've been in hotel rooms in a sea of windows, and grandparents houses with no blackout curtains. If you're stuck as a parent in the same room, it doesn't muffle sound (which goes both ways), but the darkness factor is extremely helpful. So if it's fully zipped up, turning on a light or just having a device screen on, shouldn't break through. Not necessarily Pros or Cons, but things to be aware of based on our several months of use: - This plus the inflatable bed, plus sheets will guarantee take up half a large checked bag - just so you're aware. - It does take a little time to set up, but you get better with each attempt - The holes for the cameras at the top (should you be inclined) - you basically run into one of two risks. If you use the mesh side, you will get mesh covering some of your view, but moving it won't cause sounds. If you use the clear plastic side (camera pending) and you do end up trying to move the camera - it will cause a sound that may wake your kid. Plus, again depending on the camera, you won't be able to get all of the bed visible in one wide frame, but unless the kid fully climbs/rolls out of the bed - you'll always see a part of them. - SO FAR, when our daughter begins to stand up and push against the tent to try and get out it doesn't topple over. But she's less than 2 years old and we imagine it may become a thing as she gets older/bigger. Overall, we're happy to have this and we anticipate using it for many years to come as she gets older and we travel.

The slumber pod has been immensely helful by blocking light and hiding visual distractions. However, it does get hot inside even with all the air vents open. Adding a small fan would help, but from a design perspective there should be more efficient ways to increase airflow without adding a fan.
