So simple, yet so effective! I used this magnet when tapping off an existing sprinkler feed to add a smart sprinkler unit and a hose bibb. All my solenoids, and their sprinkler valves, are at the front of my house, but the smart sprinkler is at the rear. Since the smart sprinkler would replace the rear valve's role in controlling watering, I needed this rear valve to be always on. All I had to do was slip the solenoid off this valve and slip the magnet on (be sure to place the proper side up). Now, I had just what I wanted - always-on flow to rear sprinkler feed. Note that if you do something similar, I strongly recommend a shutoff valve close to the smart sprinkler, hose bibb, or whatever so you can conveniently shut off the water for servicing these items. This magnet allowed me to maintain the integrity of my existing sprinkler feed (in case I ever wanted to revert to my original watering method) while enabling me to adopt a smart sprinkler.

Great magnet valve. Hubby needed an affordable replacement for work. Does the job. He was impressed upon taking it out of the box. solid construction. Has and Will continue to hold up to banging around in his tool box. Has been a Time saver for troubleshooting. Terrific price! I would buy it again.

Works very well, great troubleshooting tool

If you work, in HVAC, and use solenoid magnets, this is the only way to go! These are literally a third of the cost of what you would pay at the wholesaler, and they don’t break nearly as easy.
