(The existing fixings we have cannot be removed)** A: I had the same concerns with holes and fixings, before I received it.... the seat comes with fixing and these fixings are movable to accomodate your holes in the toilet, you will have to wiggle the fixing to fit, unless your very lucky, but its not difficult and I'm not DIY inclined **Q: What is the material the seat made of?** A: It's very sturdy plastic. Easy to clean . Easy to assemble . Very good would recommend 👌 **Q: Would this fit n an old fashioned type toilet? I currently have to secure fitting scre from underneath which never seems secure.** A: It should fit but you may have to get different size Plugs depending on the size of the holes in your toilet it fits mine but had to get smaller plugs for my brothers as he had smaller holes in his toilet **Q: Is there any Weight restrictions?** A: I wouldn't think so. It is fairly robust. Unless you want to stand on the lid, no. ## Frequently Bought Together - CUQOO Oval Toilet Seat Soft Close with Quick Release Hinges - Adjustable White Seat for Modern Bathrooms, Durable Anti-Slip Easy-to-Clean and Universal Fit Design for Standard O-Shape Toilets - Ibergrif M34152 Silicone Toilet Brushes & Holders, Deep Cleaner, Toilet Brush with Quick Drying Holder Set for Bathroom - Ibergrif MK34052 Chrome Toilet Roll Holder Wall Mounted, Self Adhesive Toilet Paper Holder for Bathroom & Kitchen, Waterproof, No Drilling --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.is/products/520048411-cuqoo-toilet-seat-soft-close-oval-quick-release-hinges-oval](https://www.desertcart.is/products/520048411-cuqoo-toilet-seat-soft-close-oval-quick-release-hinges-oval) --- *Product available on Desertcart Iceland* *Store origin: IS* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
