These headphones amazed me. First of all, I'm going to start out by saying that I payed for these headphones by myself and am not being sponsored by Sony. Right out of the box, I was surprised. I was expecting some cheap feeling mass produced headphones, but I quickly realized that my assumptions were wrong. They are fairly weighty, but not enough to make your head sore after some jamming. The headband is made out of brushed aluminum, which is a bit of a fingerprint magnet, but feels solid and sturdy. The rest of the housing is made of plastic, but feel well built. When I first tried these on, I was amazed on how comfortable they were. Coming from a pair of cheaper Sony headphones, these felt like luxury. Plenty of ear room and very cushiony around the hears and on the top of the head. I continued on normally when I test these types of products, and turned them on. Connecting was a breeze with the built in NFC functionality. I just tapped my phone to the right earcup, pressed ok on my phone, and I was paired. After playing some music on Spotify for roughly half an hour, I was stunned. The sound quality on these are exactly what you would expect for the price tag. The extra bass option is a must have if you are a bass lover like me. I am going to continue to use these as my daily drivers and I would recommend these to anyone looking for a solid pair of quality headphones

Bass as the product is tagged extra bass is definitely good. But the volume at full also seems low.

Very good quality headphone for Android device as well as Windows 10 PC. I have used it withh SoundBot Bluetooth dongle SB340 dongle. Check my review of this dongle here, https://www.amazon.in/dp/B00F25Z0FS/ref=pdp_new_dp_review But I am right now using it with Avantree BTDG-50-WGR2 Bluetooth USB Audio Transmitter and it is much better quality compared to SoundBot. Now those who likes base heavy for gaming and music it will be mind blowing for the bass effect. But it is not a audiophile one. So if you are searching for a clear type headphone this is not for you. Go with Schechizer or Audiotechnica headphones. 2. Build quality is simply topnotch and around the ear design not on the ear type which causes ear pain after few hrs of use. Ear cushion is thick and it will cover most of the ear size properly. 3. You will get play, pause, next, phone receive button with a single joystick type control, volume rocker, power button and base effect on off button. Again bass effect on makes it very base heavy and not every people will like it. I turn it off and even then the bass is strong compared to my Schenhizer headphones. The play pause button even works with windows 10 vlc media player and other popular media players but base effect can only be controlled by the android app. 4. It supports AptX codec out of the box. AptX is a new Bluetooth codec with allows very good quality audio transmission and believe me you don't gonna find any difference in gaming between wired and wireless audio if your Bluetooth supports aptX. Most of the basic laptop BT driver don't have AptX support but many phones have. To get good audio from PC (works flawlessly with windows 10 however windows 7 have BT compatibility issues) use a good quality BT dongle not cheap generic one. 5. Battery life is superb and it lasts for almost 4 days in heavy use (more than 4hr a day). However bass effect on drains battery a bit fast. 6. It is very comfortable to use for 4-5 hrs continuous. 7. The height adjustment of this headphone has been designed very nicely and it is not so loose and not so tight. The top part is metal but side speaker arms are plastic but complete metal will also increase the weight of the headphone. Cons: 1. Very expensive 2. No noise cancellation feature available. 3. Not for music lovers who loves to hear music the way it has been composed. It adds grain of salt and spice which may not be welcomed by all customers. However I am very satisfied with this headphone and shifted to full headphone for gaming on my windows 10 PC. I love it and I would recommend it to anybody who loves base heavy headphones and after all it's a Sony.
