Really tasty, really tender. I'm no connoisseur but this stuff is very moreish. The difficulty will be trying to resist the tempation to open a second bag.

I was a small bit sceptical about ordering food products from Amazon but decided to bite the bullet on a bag of the Ember Biltong (I got the chilli beef one) The flavour is amazing which gets stronger the more you eat and trust me this stuff is addictive! The pieces of beef are for the most part very soft, granted there will be a tough piece in there considering the size of the bag but they still taste amazing. The ONLY con to this is the packaging, I would love to see a resealable bag that could keep it fresh for more than three days because trust me its a task to try finish it within the given timeframe TL;DR - Biltong good, chilli flavour good, give us a sealable bag and I cant wait for my next order!

Tastes good and much better quality than most.

Iv'e ordered two bags of this so far and both have been very consistent, the meat is dry and not at all greasy to the touch which is a major plus for me as i snack while at a computer, in terms of texture it starts off a bit tough as you would expect but very quickly softens up and has a great flavour, the only downside here for me was that i found a gristly bit, but i only found the one out of a combined 1KG of meat so I'm not really bothered by it. As for flavour the chilli flavouring comes in the form of dried chilli flakes, personally i like this as it is natural and doesn't leave powder residue everywhere but there are a couple of downsides, the spiciness can vary from bit to bit and also the flakes tend to settle towards the bottom of the pack so the end 'crumbs' are very spicy compared to the rest, apart from that the flavour is pretty much the standard salty/beefy flavour with a hint of vinegar you would expect from biltong. The packs are not resealable but i found folding the top and using a clip worked providing you keep it in the fridge. Overall i very much enjoyed the product.

Good quality and well presented. Tried Chili and Rosemary & Garlic. later is really good. Garlic is not dominant which is rather unusual and I like it even so "rosemary flavour" might be strange for some. As for chilli version, beef is nicely dried and not much fat, the chilli amount is good and not too hot but the chilli they use have some "lemony/acid" notes, which is not up to my palate. Overall good quality product at a reasonable price.

This product is tasty in the chilli flavour I'm not sure I'd like the standard flavour. I found the bags a strange setup, I couldn't open them across the top as is the norm, the little nick at the top tears down the side of the bag. The main issue is the small quantity per bag for a per bag price of near enough £2.00. For me to buy again the price per bag would have to come down or the quantity increase. It's a tasty and I presume healthier option to normal snacks like peanuts and crisps etc, but if entertaining guests a few bags would be required raising the price issue again.

Ember absolutely do the best biltong on the market, I've been buying this for a while now and no other brand is as tasty or has as good a texture. I now have the subscription for the 1 kilo each month. Great product

Jeder, der hier die Rezensionen liest, wird schon wissen, worauf er sich einlässt. Billtong ist ähnlich wie Beef Jerky ein proteinreicher Snackersatz und perfekt für Ketodiäten etc. Da meine übliche Marke zur Zeit nicht liefern konnte, habe ich mir kurzerhand über Amazon diese bestellt. Die Lieferung betrug wenige Tage, ich war selbst überrascht, da das Produkt überregional versendet wird. Angekommen, ausgepackt: Und wow, der Geschmack ist großartig. Pfefferlastig, leicht scharf, genau mein Geschmack. Die Stücke sind nicht zu groß und demnach auch nicht zu gummiartig, was bei anderen Marken durchaus vorkommt. Für Billtong perferkt geschnitten. Es war kein Fett vorhanden und das Fleisch war sehr gut getrocknet. Einzig der Preis erschien mir für ein kg ein wenig zu hoch. Aber davon abgesehen wirklich tolles Fleisch, was ich innerhalb nur einer Woche weggeputzt habe :D

2 fois que je commande la version chili en 1kg et franchement le gout et la texture sont vraiment bon, limite addictif. La meilleur viande séchée que j'ai pu gouter. Parfait pour le sport et la prise de muscle, si comme moi vous ne supportez pas les shakers et les barres protéinés c'est une très bonne alternative. Un peu salé et des conservateurs mais l'approche de l'entreprise est respectable. Très bon produit, je recommande.

questo è , personalmente, il miglior biltong che io abbia mai mangiato tralasciando i valori nutrizionali eccellenti soprattutto per gli sportivi, il gusto è veramente buono. si il prezzo è alto tuttavia la qualità è anche alta, qualità che si può capire leggendo la storia dei produttori ( riportata sul retro del sacchetto) . decisamente consigliato
