Great for One
I have a small though well-designed kitchen and I wanted a soup maker that would not take up a lot of room. The JustMe soupmaker is just the right size for my needs. It's about the size of a thermos flask and comes with a cable and a good instruction booklet. I was nervous tackling my first attempt at soup-making but I needn't have worried, The pea and ham soup was delicious and took around 19 minutes on the Smooth facility. Would I recommend it? Yes if you need soup for only one person. Cleaning is a doddle as the little soupmaker has a Clean facility that tackles the job in a few minutes. The price is somewhat high perhaps but as I said earlier, the product suits my needs. (In the photo below the lid is wrongly placed on the product. It was rested just for this image!)

Fantastic little soup maker that is going to be very well used
I am the only member of my family who loves soup. I have thought about buying a soup maker before because the tinned soups I buy have a lot of salt and preservatives, which are not good for my kidneys, but I didn't want a machine which made lots of soup that I would have to eat for days on end, or freeze. Then I saw this little baby - and I had to have it! Before buying it I looked at all the reviews and all the recipes from the company and was really impressed. I chose the sage green (such a pretty colour), and it arrived last night. I couldn't wait to get started today! One of my favourite soups is leek and potato, and I had all the ingredients in the house already, so armed with the recipe provided by Justme, off I went. I chopped up two small potatoes, a good chunk of leek, popped in a small handful of frozen diced onions and a bit of dried thyme and then used half a stock cube melted in 200ml of water. I popped everything into the soup maker, making sure I did not go past the Maximum mark inside, put the lid on and pressed the start button. Then I went away for 15 minutes or so. I could hear it working its magic and after 19 minutes there were 3 beeps and the soup was done. I was amazed when I poured it out - I got a lovely smooth creamy soup which was red hot. The smell was divine. It makes 300ml of soup - which filled my normal soup bowl, and I had it with crusty ciabatta for lunch. Gorgeous. And now for another huge advantage - it actually cleans itself. Yes, really!!! After I made the soup I filled it with water to the maximum mark, put one very small drop of washing up liquid into it, put on the lid and pressed the Clean button. It whizzed around several times, stopping and starting and only took a few minutes before it beeped and was done. When I opened the lid I poured out the water and rinsed it with clean water and it was sparkling clean. No need to wash it myself. Brilliant. There is a little brush which is included in case anything gets stuck on the blades, but I didn't need it. I have to say that the recipes provided on the Justme website are really helpful. I have a shopping delivery tomorrow and am getting a stock of products which I can use to make lots of different soups. Their Youtube videos are also very informative. Tomorrow I will be making cream of mushroom, and then asparagus, but the great thing about this is that once you get familiar with it you can make all kinds of soups using whatever you have left in the fridge and in the cupboard - and you can use frozen vegetables so you don't have to have fresh vegetables to make really tasty soup. There is a button for chunky soup and for smooth soup so you can choose whatever you want, and it also makes smoothies - ideal for breakfast and warm summer days. I am so impressed - I really wish I had bought this a long time ago, and I know it is going to be one of the most used gadgets in my kitchen (even better as it is just the size of a thermos flask so takes up no space at all)!

So useful and easy to use.
Just so simple to use! So much easier than making soup in a pan as there's no watching and waiting, also great for smoothies. All you have to do is cut up the ingredients quite small, add liquid, choose your preferred option, press start and forget about it until the bleeps sound, that's it! It's not cheap but it is light and well made and so useful. It is a much healthier option than store bought soups and smoothies as you choose the ingredients, so no preservatives or other 'nasties'. I am really pleased I bought it and I'm enjoying using it.

Good soup maker works well. A bit pricey.
This is a great little soup maker. Pluses are that it works well. It’s easy to clean. It has a self cleaning function. Minuses are that it only makes enough for one. The blades are inside the machine at the bottom so food can stick more easily. The buttons are touch sensitive and they don’t always respond easily. It’s a bit pricey. The soup is delicious and the machine seems very well made.

Small but mighty good soup
300ml Single Serving Justme Small Soup Maker Ordered: 25th November 2023 Delivered: 27th November 2023 1st Soup Made: 28th November 2023 Coconut Chicken & Prawn Soup. First part was lovely, but got gritty as I got to the end. Will try again - just without the prawns. Cost: £48.50 48.50 ÷ 2.00 = 24.50 48.50 ÷ 1.80 = 26.94 At £2.00 for Chunky Soup and £1.80 for smooth in my local supermarket it will need to make 25 -27 soups to pay for itself. Been thinking of making my own soup since I noticed that the selection in my local supermarket isn't all that good anymore. Since I get dizzy spells cooking for too long over a naked flame isn't the safest option - especially if I'm home alone. So I thought I'd take a look at soup machines. As I've never made soup before I thought it was a little pricey for something just for me, but as I love soup I thought I'd give it a go. Especially as I also love stir-frys, and they're not a safe option when home alone. I've noticed that by the time I get to the end of the bag of stir-fry veggies they're wilting. Not anymore with this machine. 1 cup of mushroom stir-fry veggies, 1 cup of pre-cooked chicken - making sure everything is chopped small, add some Hoisin Sauce and Chinese Five-Spice to the hot water, pour into machine. Choose your setting - I used smooth first and got a lovely smooth soup. Then I used the same recipe and used the chunky mode and got a lovely chunky soup that I enjoyed even more than the smooth. I'm really looking forward to making many different soups over the winter - including Chinese Chicken and Mushroom again. Bonus for me are the two other features this little machine has: 1. Smoothie Mode: I love smoothies and I'm looking forward to trying out this mode. 2. Clean Mode: I just love that it cleans itself while I'm eating. Saves so much time. Would I recommend? YES. It's simple to use. Within 30 minutes you've a hot, healthy meal. It cleans itself while your eating. Saves your time and energy. It's light weight and is easy to store away. It looks good if you wish to give it a home on your counter top. It's just what I needed and I love it - so even at the price I paid, its already paid for it's self.

Brilliant piece of kit
A fantastic little piece of kit. So easy to use and quick to make the soup. I haven't stopped using it since it arrived, I often use it twice a day and I am not even a huge fan of soup, it's just a very easy and convenient way of getting your five a day, using up leftover vegetables. Sometimes I use it to boil up some pasta or lentils. Can't stop telling my friends and family about it. Small enough to use at work, on a desk. Probably the best purchase ever, I love it more than my Alexa Echo Dot. I wish I found it earlier.

Excellent soup maker
A really good little soup maker for a chronically ill person like myself. It’s easy to use and creates a perfect, filling portion of wholesome soup (using your choice of ingredients). My only complaint is that the water marker is not visible when filled with ingredients and you really can’t put much in, before it spills over. The design could do with being a few inches wider or taller, in order to avoid liquid spillages. I usually cover the cable with a heavy dishcloth to protect it from said spillage. Overall, I love this! Needs very little effort and produces delicious healthy soups.

How did I manage without it???
As I live alone, I find full-sized soup makers encourage me to eat too much ("I'll just have a bit more. Well, that amount isn't worth saving, I may as well finish that, too" ...) !! I love soup, but not the hassle of standing over a hot stove stirring a pan, keeping a watch on the time, and generating extra washing up with stick blenders etc. Since buying the pretty green Justme 6 months ago, I've used it constantly. It makes just enough soup to fill my (large) soup mug once. I rarely bother with a recipe: some veggies (sometimes I'm daring and add something like left-over ham or chicken!), a stock cube, and water - and off it goes. Leek and potato; broccoli and stilton; pea and ham; celery; cream of tomato; chicken and veg; spicy lentil; sprouts; chunky mixed veg; whatever's left over and needs using up. Tinned veggies work well in an emergency, too. The tiny Justme seemed expensive, but I'm SO glad I bought it! Ideal for just one person, and thoroughly recommended. Unless I inadvertently blow it up, it will have more than earned its keep, and its place in my kitchen amongst "indispendible items"!
